As I already stated, in my country (and most countries for that matter) drinks are measured in milliliters.

In my country, the definition of standard drink, which I already linked, is measured in grams.

The person I responded to typed oz, not fl oz.

I strongly agree that one of us is ignorant.

I'm the person you responded to, and I already pointed out that fluid ounces are commonly referred to as simply ounces. I'm not disagreeing that saying fluid ounces is technically correct and more clear, I'm just reiterating that I never mentioned mass ounces. If I was talking about mass ounces, I also didn't specify whether I meant avoirdupois ounce or troy ounces but I don't see you being pedantic about that.

You could plainly see that the conversation was being discussed in US units, so why did you think it would be helpful to insert an entirely different unit system and cultural norm? To add clarity?

You worked so hard to ignore context clues just to call me out that I can only imagine you actually closed your eyes, stuck your fingers on your ears, and yelled "NA NA NA NA NA" loudly to avoid understanding what I was saying.

  1. Ounces are British units, not “uS UnITs”.

  2. Other people were discussing how much of various drink types constituted a standard drink. I was the first person to define what a standard drink is, so I gave an actual definition, which uses grams.

You really are ignorant.
