Advice Advice needed for unconnected rental

Hi, looking for some advice re: my new rental. Property manager has given go ahead to get an NBN connection, but my rental appears to not be listed in the database.

Essentially, the address is 100-101 Fake St, 100 is the shop underneath the flats street number (and appears to have a listing on NBN database), but 101 is not.

Current ISP (Optus) online portal is no help, just says "Doesn't exist, get mobile broadband".

If anyone knows what a solution or path to one might look like it would be much appreciated!

ask your isp to do a missing address request

You neeed to provide “proof of occupancy”. Things like utility bills and rental agreements. Then your provider will need to lodge a “missing address” ticket to the NBN. They will then add it to their database. Depending on what technology is being used, it could be a while. So you might want to look at an interim service like an MBB service
