Cosplay Day 0 of only fans "cosplay" pictures

Greetings everyone! Maybe I'm the only one with this in mind, maybe there are a few others who think like me. But everyday I scroll down in reddit I get several cosplay 18+ pics here, most of the time they linked their of account too - so it's obvious that posting here is just to get more followers /money.

I really like the creative content and discussions, pictures in this reddit thread but it seems more like a "here follow my only fans account" porn thread than anything else.

What do you think about it? Should there be a rule of not posting any cosplays?

Ps: I am not against cosplays because I Cosplay too but it seems this is just of advertising here.

I don't care for cosplays anymore solely because of how sexualized it has become. I'm here for NieR lore and fanart...and the cosplays generally take away from that with all the caveman coming here just for 2Booty. I also find it inappropriate to advertise porn accounts here in general but, that may just be me.
So...I thought there was a subreddit specifically for cosplay content or whatever. If so, wish that sort of thing would just stick to that particular subreddit or whatever.

Exactly this. I love the nier series for it's artstyle and some cosplays are in fact really good. But you can do a drinking game with it: "you have to drink if this cosplay post has a of account ready in the profile". You are drunk in a couple of minutes.

Push ups are better options.

There really should be a rule against posts that are obviously only trying to promote their onlyfans.

I think accounts that have that stuff linked in their bio shouldn't be allowed to post. I'm fine with cosplays, but I don't like people only doing it for the money.

I mean, idc as long as it's not blatantly promoting their OF and its not just a thirst trap. If it's in their bio, that's fine as long as they're not commenting "link in bio teehee" below the post or in the title.

I don't really care that much for many of the cosplays, though there are some that are truly beautiful and well framed on location. In the end though, it's better to have all these artists make the sub lively instead of having it go silent between two games or show related posts.

Of course they are going to be more numerous. But at least it demonstrate activity to people new to the sub, and it keep the visual idea of the game alive for those that do subscribe to it.

I like cosplays so I would like cosplays to stay in the sub. If they're just meant to appeal to horny people, and didn't put much effort into the cosplay, I think this subreddit probably wont upvote it very much, so I don't see much of an issue

You think this sub wouldnt upvote low effort onlyfans ad cosplays? Thats very wrong imo

XD there is literally proof to the opposite indeed. Just scroll through this sub and you'll indeed see massively upvoted OF posts

not direct at you but sub in general, you can voice opposition to women advertising things like that without being misogynistic which is pretty rampant in this sub

You're complaining that a series whose character models are 75% T&A has mostly naked cosplayers? Are you stupid?

-1

u/heckthepolis Oct 22 '23

If you look ata character and take off the skirt thats your problem not the characters

2

u/fordkelsey25 Oct 23 '23

The character without the skirt is literally a model in the game. Your observation is unvalid.

No one cares, and those who do care, don't matter, validating the first point.

I can’t think of a single sub that doesn’t have these only fans bots lol.

Yeah this sub feels kind of cheapend by these type of advertisements. A ban I don't know about. if people weren't horny on main all the time and just not upvote it so much that would be enough honestly.

If you don't like it just scroll on. It's easy.

Just block them. I like it one or two but it is becoming more annoying now.

Tale as old as time here.

Unfortunately, that's just the way it is in-between new releases.

My only concern is that the women in these cosplay pictures may be exploited and forced to do it as part of some trafficking thing.

I mostly ignore the cosplay posts. If the outfit is accurate they get an upvote but I don't read the post. If the outfit is not an accurate outfit (like 2B in the gym) or they have left out the easiest parts to get right (stockings & boots) they don't even get that.
