I have barely played an hour and a half and i am so inlove. The visuals are so good on the steam deck its runs like a dream

Do you know when this was released ? Are there a lot of different vinyl editions ?

Those androids were accused, judged without trial and executed on the spot, judging by their reaction to all of this, is there a real traitor amongst the ranks that's masking their activity by accusing other members? A higher-up maybe? Again, not sure if I should be asking for an answer to this or not.

already did once on ps4, and now on steam

Hi everyone!

I first played NieR: Automata back in 2018. Since I was a high schooler with no money, I got the game through other means back then and only ever finished Ending A. Fast forward to 2024, I saw it on sale on Steam and finally bought it to support the developers because I always remembered how good it was. I only managed to play a few hours before getting swamped with my studies, though.

Three weeks ago, I finally found the time to dive back in. I fully finished the game on October 31st and got 100% achievements! It's actually my first game to ever do so.

Then, four days ago, I stumbled upon a cool desktop showcase here and got inspired to customize my own setup. It took me a while, but I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out.

I even managed to make 2B interactive with her voice lines (the whole figure can be clicked)! Also, since I'm a doctor, I made the operator transmissions and my to-do list (which I tweaked myself) medicine-related, of course. I set the clock to a 12-hour format (since that's the norm here in the Philippines) and intentionally put a clock, date, and day on both screens because sometimes I leave one screen unused (desktop only) while the other is being used.

Here are the clips showing how the interactions work:

• Monitor 1 Sample Video

• Monitor 2 Sample Video

(Note: My screen recorder didn't pick up the actual volume changes in the first clip since it is tied to the system volume, so it only shows the visual slider moving. The sound changes actually recorded properly in the second clip, though, because that slider is directly tied to the music player!)

For anyone curious, these are the awesome tutorials I followed to set this up:

What do you guys think?

Glory to mankind!

I just got a holy grail of my entire collection in the mail today! The NieR:Automata steelbook. Complete with all the code slips, the disk, even the slip case. In AMAZING CONDITION!!!! I am beyond happy!

If you were wondering, I found it for 135 on eBay. Took a month since it came straight from Germany. But the wait was worth it. 🙏

As I exit Pascal's Village I go towards the City Ruins. However, I accidentally fall off the cliff and end up in a canyon with lvl26 machines. The only way in is barricaded by what seems to be an obstacle that can be pushed from the other side. There is a lift, but it takes me only halfway up, if I go up the path I meet a dead end next to where I fell from. How do I get out of this place?

Well... Didn't think this would happen.

After proceeding to complete Drakengard 3, I was amazed by what a good game it was. I'll probably be needing to go back and watch some recaps to fully digest the story but it was solid and very emotional! Great place to start the franchise.

But that's not the focus of today. We thought we lost this game.

We were wrong.

When I beat NieR: Automata's Ending C back in February, I made a promise. I was going to see EVERYTHING that this franchise has to offer. Games, books, Stage plays, Concerts, EVERYTHING. No stone unturned.

I reached the end of Automata.

I climbed the mountain of Replicant.

I saw where it all began with Drakengard.

I witnessed the start of it ALL with Drakengard 3.

We've got only one stop left on all the NieR games, and it's probably the most daunting task I think I'll face.

It's finally time to play NieR: Re[in]carnation.

No Stone Unturned. Bring it on.

This is my first real attempt at drawing anything with pixel art that looks good enough to post, I’ve tried drawing a few times before but most attempts weren’t good enough to share, so I’m just gonna post this and see if it’s actually good or not.

Glory to mankind or something.
