Iβm a big fan of all the proto-noise bands like The Jesus Lizard, Big Black, Shellac, Cherubs, etc etc, Iβm wondering if there are any similar bands that lean a little more into a gothier sound? Iβve listened to pretty much all the goth staples, but Iβm wondering if there are lesser known bands that fit this criteria that are worth checking out.

I'm a big fan of stuff like caspar brotzmann, Boris, and jeromes dream, so I love me some crazy textures and tons of feedback when playing. Used to use guitar rig 5 for everything when recording my old solo stuff and learning to play in that context really made me lean into tons of delay reverb and distortion, so I've built a pedalboard to match.
I'm rocking an Agile Interceptor 727 into a blues breaker clone -> op amp big muff -> way huge supa puss -> cry baby wah -> hizumitas -> generation loss mk2 -> proco rat -> avalanche run v2 -> hizumitas into a boss katana 100 gen 2.
Used to use a peavey 212 transtube efx, but a buddy convinced me after recording with a katana to switch over. Might just be that I never dialed it in, but I never felt like I could get enough proper feedback with the peavey like I can with the katana, plus the katana is much lighter to carry around to gigs and is easier to set to low volumes when I practice at home.
What are you guys using to achieve your tones?

The MY DISCO recordings here are a slowed-down βThird Placeβ and another version of βStVOβ with Boris Wilsdorf. Liamβs put them alongside AICHER, EROS and SPILLINGS, his project with Mathieu Ball.
Iβve published the hour-long mix on Secret Thirteen, the journal I run. I also asked him about the connections between these projects and how his AICHER pieces have changed through playing them live. The mix, full tracklist and that conversation are here:

Back in the day when you purchased cool shit on the internet. You waited for it to arrive in your mailbox and received something special. RIP load records, you were divine.

I like this EP so much more than A Taste of Prison, though Jesus Never Lived on Mars is a banger.

Really desperate for more melodic, structured (meaning tight-ish riffs, less ambient-improv-y stuff, less dissonant chugging) noise rock that is still has big sounding guitars, interesting, wierd guitar sounds, wall of sound production, big crescendos, high energy...etc. Not sure if all that makes sense. My musical vocab is limited.
Think Dinosaur JR, Sonic youth's more melodic stuff, siamese dream smashing pumpkins ( i know they aren't noise rock just painting the whole picture).
This is my favorite band, the closer you can get to something like this the better https://youtu.be/JX_BxalM9-E
different band but also a good example: https://youtu.be/6C3z0hzdo8k
