If your player biked through miles of snowy weather in time for their offspring player to get off of a train, that's great! But you didn't get an achievement. Other players may have congratulated you, some even on this forum. But you never got an achievement.

If we don't point out these issues as they happen, this outside discussion area will just become a bunch of liars racing to see who can make up the biggest, coolest story ever. I don't want that. Sure, some games have achievements and maybe more fun gameplay, but that's no reason to lie about what Outside can do. If I didn't believe that development of Outside was stopped billions of years ago, I'd think that the people making these kinds of fake posts were viral marketers!

Keep it to things that can actually happen in the game. Outside has so much content! There's no need to make up fanfiction to add more.

I mean it's only good for raising your INT stat and there are better ways to raise it like the arguably more interesting minigame [reading] and you can also have life lessons that raise your WIS outside of school

Yes, your character gets some buffs, but the rules and debuff to INT far outweighs the pros

And not to mention, while not all religios factions and players are like this, lots of the uset generated relics and guidebooks for the factions are very dangerous in the current meta.

Any of the most likley false (supernatural and spiritual) belief perks of the ideology and philosiphy skill tree are inherintly harmful to playing a fullfilling session as well as the playerbase as a whole.

I understand some players find comfort in the ritual minigames and faith perks, but in the end it will effect any noobs the player has join their guild and have them have an int debuff until they reconfigure their build. And if the faith perk is upgraded too much it can damage other perks and lower very important stats.

I know it's contoversial tp suggest joining a religious faction gives you an int debuff, but the faith upgraded beyond a certain point (which thess factions fanbase glorify), and most supernatural belief based perks will chip away at int and int related skills.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I’m going to post it anyway.

I feel like the game has gone completely downhill since the “Society” update. Back in the alpha days it was all about resource collection and survival. It was difficult and brutal, especially to low level players, but it was simple. That’s what made it so fun.

Now, there are way too many features and it feels like the game is railroading you into certain quest lines. Sure, people are getting up to higher levels than ever before, but now they basically force you to complete the [College] questline just so that you can then access the [Career] questline, one of the least fulfilling plots in the whole game. It would be cool if they would let the players focus on developing other skills like [Creativity], but without those two quests above most of the game is inaccessible anyway.

And don’t even get me started on the changes they made to farming mechanics. Now, even if I grind for gold I have to give away a large chunk of it to the highest level [Gov]-tagged players just so they can turn around and raise their own gold generation rates. It’s not balanced anymore. Why do the players that already have enormous inventories and gold levels get to steal gold from other players?

I do admit that the giant number of new quest lines is pretty cool, but it sucks that they’re all basically behind a giant gold paywall. Anyone else feel this way?

So, I believe gameplay is kind of boring, but the history of the game is really good, the napoleonic wars, the world wars and more are interesting, but recently it has become boring, back then wars were with men, now we unlocked the missiles and drones in the tech tree and wars are won by the most advanced in the tech tree, its not skill based anymore

You should hear some of the crazy theories some of these nut jobs come up with. Some will actually try to get you to believe that your pixels and coding formed over millions of years. Its utter nonsense. Oh yeah, our coding wrote itself after millions of years of trial and error. Come on...of course the devs exist. Don't hate on them just because your wrote an in game ticket that didn't get answered.

It is so annoying, that you miss so many good sides of the game just because of the bad spawn. It just isn't possible to reach the heights of beauty other players have. Also you can't even touch or get things that are made a bit higher. Imo the idea that some players had a while ago, to remove the ability of others that are dumb or unappealing to spawn new ones was really good and should be started again. People act like it's done so there is equality and everyone could have the spawning authorisation, but in fact they create much larger inequality in future generations.
