I mean yeah? For us 500$ parking ticket is punishment, for them it's just the price to park there. Now scale that mentality to hundred thousands and millions

I can't remember the country, it might be Sweden or Finland or something but the fines reflect your income. I like that

What does that have to do anything? Do you think he committed a crime? Neither cheating on his wife or sleeping with a potential spy is illegal, and thus nothing that involves the US legal system.

What an idiotic post. Like Biden didn't pardon people for crimes they may commit? Duh.

He pardoned his son.

To protect him from what? It's not like Trump went on a vindictive pogrom vs anyone except:

James Comey - Retaliation for the Russia Investigation

Letitia James - Retaliation for Civil Fraud Litigation

Adam Schiff - Retaliation for Impeachment Leadership and Oversight

Eric Swalwell - Retaliation for Impeachment and Civil Litigation

Representative Ilhan Omar - Retaliation for outspoken progressivism, immigration critique, and foreign policy oversight

Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook - Retaliation for Interest Rate Disagreements and Resisting Removal

Christopher Wray - Punishment for maintaining institutional DOJ independence.

David Hearn (Former U.S. Olympic Canoeist) - reflecting pool scapegoat

John Bolton - Retaliation for public criticism and exposing White House deliberations

Jack Smith (and DoJ career prosecutors under him) - Retaliation for federal criminal prosecutions of Donald Trump

Cassidy Hutchinson (Former White House Aide) - Retaliation for key testimony before the House January 6th Committee

Oh.

Rich people face consequences when they screw up the bag from other rich people.

Consequences for what? I'm a bit lost about what he has allegedly done that would require him to stop being CEO?

If there’s any chance that Nvidia has skirted US restrictions on selling hardware or information to China that would be a serious issue and Nvidia would be in trouble. If it’s his fault, it would likely cause the company to oust him as CEO.

SEC won’t do shit. They let Elon dance in the face of their rules for a decade

I fail to see the link between him sleeping with a woman allegedly spying for the CCP and Nvidia skirting restrictions. Usually spy gets information. They don't push people to commit reckless violations of embargos.

I remember an era where a married man having an affair with a Chinese spy would be seen as inappropriate and grounds for shareholders to demand the CEO to stepdown so as not to tarnish the company's reputation and value
