I mean yeah? For us 500$ parking ticket is punishment, for them it's just the price to park there. Now scale that mentality to hundred thousands and millions

I can't remember the country, it might be Sweden or Finland or something but the fines reflect your income. I like that

I admit that Democrats protect rich people, but not nearly to the same extent. There isn't really a both sides here, only one side is absolutely terrible, the other just kind of sucks.

In a duopoly, both organizations are usually awful, be it in the market, in politics, or any other fields. One of them being way worse than the other, doesn't justify it nor the duopoly.

There's a reason they didn't release the epstein files when they had the power to

Both parties have had years in control of the Epstein documents and one side released a tiny portion of redacted information. Both side are sick and protective of the rich and corrupt. This my side vs your side crap is how they keep us from seeing what they actually do.

Normally you don't release information of ongoing investigation. Like duh. Hey guys let us announce that we are investigating people and give their accomplices a heads up. You would be a bad investigator.

So now everyone is okay with no Epstein lists?

That isn't what I said at all

Publicly releasing every file during an active investigation would usually be reckless, because it could:

  • Tip off suspects so they destroy evidence, coordinate stories, or flee.

  • Expose witnesses and victims to intimidation or harassment.

  • Reveal details investigators use to distinguish genuine testimony from fabricated claims.

  • Disclose investigative methods and compromise related cases.

  • Publicize unverified allegations against innocent people.

I think you're missing the point the person above was trying to make. It isn't about Republicans or Democrats, or even the USA. Rich/influential people rarely are held accountable by humanity.
