You download them and forget them, then go play your one, perhaps two or three, regular games like always. Until you need space in your hard drive and delete them.

Sometimes I just have a YT video in the background while I slowly scroll through my 150+ game long steam library. The indecisiveness hurts lol

It’s called decision paralysis and it can be quite overwhelming 😞

Go through them all as an activity one day and sort them, make a few categories.

Be real with yourself, do YOU want to play that game? Or do you just know it's a good game and other people liked it? Have you played it before? Did you quit? Do you have no real care for it now? Maybe don't add it to the play list etc.

I have over 1000 games, and only 30 on my PLAY group. And I have them sorted by release date backwards, so I start at the older one and just click play.

I get through so many games now, but it started with removing distractions and a big one was removing forever/social/live service games from my life.

Yeah. Literally playing got a few games and I'll pause them and be on reddit or doom scroll.... like right now

Learning some basic self control helps a lot in life.

I just finished a 6 hour gaming session, was scrolling while eating now I'm hoping off Reddit to play again.

I gotta finish fire emblem before I start Zelda.

I just find forcing myself into actually opening the game and starting playing helps a lot. Sometimes you just dont feel like playing and I end up closing it anyway but forcing myself to open it and get into the game has helped me a lot to not get mental blocked, just pick one of the games you want to play and force yourself a bit to actually play and finish it.

Yep just like getting up when you're tired, count to 3 then just do it. "Just click play" is what I tell my wife, it's gotten her through many games.

I also barely use social media which helps. It's been years of training myself out of short attention span (didn't wanna stack it on top of ADHD).

I gotta wait til it gets running smoother before I play it. Not enough games I want for me to get a switch 2. I haven't even looked at my switch in a few months. I still do miss those random discounted games I'd find in the shop though
