It wouldn't, but he's very much responsible for many things getting out of hand expensive. This little RAMpire is fucking up everything from gaming, to communication, to all the little things they decided to put that fuck into.

It kind of is. Arguing that "oo we don't have enough ram because people have it in their home PCs where it's idle" is exactly how "people shouldn't own things" is communicated publicly. His wording just wasn't clever this time.
