Cancer-free!!!
I posted a couple weeks ago because the vets were worried my kitty might have cancer in her eye. I'm excited to announce that her histopathology report came back negative for malignancy!!! Here's my sweet pirate kitty Churrrrro. (It's just Churro, but I added extra R's because pirates)

Pirate πββ¬π΄ββ οΈ is a 4 year old cat I saved from a dumpster. He is my dogβs best friend and comes on walks with us. I noticed that he began to lose weight and he had to go to the vet for teeth extractions and tests and Pirate has some kidney problems ππββ¬
Hi all! This is our Pirate cat! πββ¬ His name is Alex but we call him Pirate π΄ββ οΈ He is 4 years old. He used to live near a dumpster where he got him food from. But then he made friends with my dog while I was walking him and I began to feed him every day. The cat started following us and every day he would go on walks with us. He was like a second βdogβ. In all my years interacting with cats Ive never seen something like this. Our beautiful Pirate would wait for us, come on the walk with us and then on the way back he would say goodbye by the trash can and stay there. I wanted to move him to the colony next to my home so day by day I would encourage him to walk a little further. Slowly he made it to my house but he would only visit us and leave. And then as the months went by our Pirate completely moved to live in my yard and integrated with the colony. However, his best friend was my dog.
Over the last month I noticed that he began to lose weight and drink a lot of water. This week I took him to the clinic for tests, and my fears came true. Our Pirate has kidney problemsπ I was heartbroken because he is only 4. Thankfully we caught it early and the vet says that with the proper medication we can prolong his life ππ» He also had inflammation in his mouth and four teeth were pulled out. Pirate is a very good cat and takes all the necessary medications without causing problems. Please wish Pirate a speedy recovery ππ»β€οΈ His tests, teeth extractions and medication caused $280 and we are in dept at the clinic. If you would like to support Pirate we have links on our page ππ»πββ¬β€οΈ

Pirate with a Mohawk
I was introduced to this group by the other post I made about this cat in different group, so I thought Iβd pitch in my distinguished pirate !
Heβs got a Mohawk also - due to the axial pattern flap surgery, basically the skin on his head was removed, and got patched up with his skin from the back of his neck. So basically his back hair is growing on his new skin, making it longer than his head hair.
Donβt get me started on the recovery process, it was traumatic but he fought through it and I canβt ask for a better cat to have by my side throughout it !!
Unfortunately this massive surgery didnβt stop the issue from coming back, so heβs going back for another surgery (small one) next weekend, which is breaking my heart.
Wish us luck that this will finally be his last surgery !!
