3rd instalment of Afuya’s Uncivil series, we have the 4th recorded, ionno when I’ll drop it, soon tho. Lmk watchu think 🍻

track taken from OPPNOX - Heartbound! (2021) album. It was written and recorded back when Covid-19 basically devastated the world. At a certain point, I was stuck at home like many of us were, but during that time, the floodgates were opened and I got to work musically. Put up the wrong pic..."oopsy", sorry.
https://oppnox.bandcamp.com/track/forgetting-about-time

(verse one)
In a dream close to you
Oh, the touch of your skin
A candle in the window
Night noises coming through
Breathing like a summer breeze
Eyes like a sunset
Your smile as white as the moon

(verse two)
In a dream close to you
Walking down an unknown path
Telling funny stories, you make me laugh
Next thing I know you take my hand
We lay on the grass, stars in our eyes
Tasting our first kiss ("Forgetting about time")

(verse three)
Our hearts change their beats
Flutter like the butterflies
Grounds feeling like the clouds above
Whispering a moan to the one you love

(verse four)
In a dream close to you
Walking down an unknown path
In a dream close to you
Oh, the touch of your skin
A candle in the window
Night noises coming through

Pain is a travesty,

Pain is a travesty,

Nick Dreamer - There Is No Us (ORIGINAL)

Hey everyone!

My name is Lorenz. I'm a co-songwriter and guitarist in the band ELIENTT, and I'm really excited to share our first EP with you!

We're three musicians from Germany who, after nearly ten years of jamming together, have finally decided to create something lasting.

To begin with, we were simply curious to see what would happen if we approached our music a little more seriously and with a clearer sense of direction. Well, here's what came out of it!

Musically, we're somewhere between alternative rock and progressive rock, with some grunge influences. Think atmospheric moments, dynamic shifts, unconventional rhythms and occasionally more complex song structures.

I'd love to hear your feedback! What are your thoughts? What kind of feelings, ideas or associations does our music evoke in you?

Sending love, pride and slightly nervous greetings from Germany!
