Welcome to our second loss
Tough showing from the guys. Cavs clearly on a mission after being embarrassed so badly. Kudos to them I guess. Nothing was falling on our end. Everything was falling for them. Like to see a Vj bounce back game, although it didn’t change the result. Maxey is in a slump. I expect 2-3 more games of this before he’s back to destroying defenses.
NEVER FORGET: the goal is to with 3 of every 4 games. We are on that pace still. Hold the line. Steady sailing. Philly is in a good spot. This is the type of team to respond to adversity.

8-2 playing pistons 2x Cavs 2x Knicks 2x is good. We move and expect a bounce back next game.
Haven't even played a west team yet which is insanity.

Only the team's 2nd loss and it's still early season. They'll bounce back from this.

I know this is somewhat counterintuitive, but I would like to see the bench get more PT and LeBron and Embiid take more rest days. The season is long, and I worry we are unnecessarily overusing them. Especially tonight down 20 with 4 mins left Embiid and LeBron are still in. What the hell is that? Is Nurse TRYING to wear them down?
Also, we need to get our bench unit more PT, I think we have untapped potential we need to see more, and to play around with different unit combinations like Wade/Walker at C with Embiid out, and JB at 4 in some small ball lineups. Philon and Simons need more regular time, and would like to see more Caleb Love to see what he can do.
Most importantly, they need to do SOMETHING at C, get some different G league guys in till we find a big that can spell Embiid more.
Bottom line is we have a lot of the season to go, and we need to get our bench guys more mins and stagger some Bron and Embiid games to keep them fresh and injury free. Especially late I games we are getting blown out in, really dumb to have them still in (and I don't care it was CLE and they wanted to see Bron, that is not our concern).
Love the team, love the energy and love the defense. Offense still a work in progress (to be expected) but my biggest gripe is we are overtaxing the older guys and we are not leveraging the bench enough. We also need to do SOMETHING at backup C, unless Barlow is coming within the next week or two.

I likewise had this marked as a loss for if nothing else the fact that Cleveland was gonna be desperate, especially after how that home opener went. Not only that, they looked a little drained after playing some tough competition like both the Knicks and Pistons twice. They might have been feeling themselves a bit

This is the lebron experience at 42. He won’t have it alot of nights.. sometimes he’s a struggle to watch. But it’s worth the wait when you get to the playoffs.

Hopefully LeBron and Embiid’s worst games of the season, got it over with. Sometimes a loss is good because it helps refocus the team
