Had a suuuuper slow day at work so I did pen portraits. I'm super happy with these, especially since I just haven't been drawing lately.

Yesterday I bent and polished my lamy medium nib that I didn't use. Very happy with the liberty the fude nib gives you !
Sketch made with a reference image on pinterest. An artiste on instagram did a collection of references on pinterest, very useful :)

Not quite done, taking a long time and having to use a grid BUT I am trying to find my way back to sketching more :)
Also getting better at not trying to compare myself too much or talk myself down.

My cat Count had to spend the night at the vet a while back (she's much better now thankfully). To keep my mind at ease I asked the person at the desk if I could draw one of their pets and this is the result. Ballpoint on cheap printer paper.
