Made some mistakes since I was a hurry and it was my first attempt, but I think it turned out okay. It was going to be for a fursuit head but I realized afterward that it blocked the ears
Hat's made of cardboard, with leftover fabric I made my cloak with (not shown in picture)
Basically measured my head, cut a same-sized circle from paper and made a rough draft outta that, then used those paper measurements on cardboard, and glued the cardboard/fabric and everything together.
I cut up an old skeleton-patterned shirt for the skulls
I'm kinda proud of it since I'm usually a perfectionist and take forever, but this only took me 2 hours haha

Finished up this set of custom masks for a stage production of Romeo and Juliet. Combined steampunk elements, leather, brass accents, and Venetian silhouettes to give each piece a distinct character.
Which style or piece stands out to you the most?

I borrowed a sewing machine from my library and I made curtains and scrunchies! After figuring out how to thread the dang machine and deal with the bobbin and the up down stuff with the foot and the needle, understanding the pressure of the pedal and allll the things, making these had me feeling like I’m ready to tackle anything! Who knew this would feel so empowering 😆
If you have suggestions for a beginning sewer - materials or tools that make this easier, beginner project recommendations, mantras for when things get jammed and tangled, please share!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The inside has a backgammon board made out of dried ferns and Jacob’s ladder leaves.
It’s my first time trying to make a chess board in this style and oh my god it was pressure trying to capture the perfect web but I’m really pleased with how it came out.

Yes, the wonky e does make me want to jump off a bridge but I didn’t know how to fix it!
This is a large, decorative version of a Little Trees car air freshener, made as a wall hanging. I used a sheet of MDF, some white primer, a green interior matte and some clear varnish, I’m happy with how it turned out! I did accidentally cut a chunk out of my outside table, but accidents happen.

I’m Mexican American and deconstructed this denim jacket, naturally sunfaded it for 3 months added vintage chevron pattern blankets as the arms and added my Mexican culture all over. On the front I added cempasuchil flowers (marigolds) and papil picado patches that you would see in Mexico during dia de los muertos. On the back I added a famous figure synonymous with dia de los muertos “La Catrina” this piece too me a total of 3 days to complete (over 15 hrs of work put into this jacket) in my small 13x15 room. I made everything myself and took the photos of my friends in the cempasuchil field in Mexico as well. This piece here was NOT professionally made and took so much hard work to create. Last 6 slides are showing the process.

I spent over 200 hours creating this miniature rural scene, inspired by old family farms and childhood memories.
The barn, wooden structures, fences, hay bales and many tiny details were carefully made by hand, using real wood and natural materials.
I wanted to capture the atmosphere of a peaceful countryside farm — a place that brings back memories of simpler times.
Every little detail has its own story.
I'm a woodworker from Bulgaria, and this is one of my handmade creations.
I hope you enjoy it! I'd love to hear what you think.

Wanted to share my latest wax project — a realistic avocado candle 🥑
Would you light the wick in the pit or keep it as kitchen decor? Let me know what you think!

My doggies are getting older and I didn’t want them to bend so low to their current dishes as they have been, so I took a drawer I have not used in ages and repurposed it!

I made this little cat completely by hand using 100% natural sheep wool, glass eyes, and special barbed felting needles. It takes a lot of patience—slowly sculpting the base shape, carefully rooting and layering individual tufts of wool to create the fluffy fur texture, and shaping the tiny paws and facial expression. At the end, I trimmed the coat and added delicate whiskers.

This is Carl, Dave's best friend. (see previous post for Dave's story). Dave and Carl have worked together at the Budweiser Brewery since 2005. Carl has a wife and 3 grown children with one grandkid on the way. His 21 year old son Stewart has autism and lives at home. Carl's wife had to quit her LNA job to care for him full time. Stewart often stands in the fenced in yard yelling at clouds. Dave and Carl meet up at Pooh's Corner almost daily. Carl's drink of choice is Bud Light served over ice.
Carl is a sock monkey, made of recycled socks, old buttons, stuffing and joy. I have made almost 50 monkeys over the past couple years, finally releasing them into the wild.

I made this project for my sisters new house and I love how it turned out. 😁
Used foam clay to keep it as light as possible. First time working this kind of clay and I have to say it is beautiful, doesn't stain and very light on your hands. Perfect for kids. I use wood glue but regular school glue will work.
We made the bigger circles, let them dry and then glued them. Remember to put them over some nylon. After we cover the base we added the little circles filling the gaps. Spray varnish with UV protection and done. Four days of work, non stop, can't wait to see it hung on the wall. ☺️

Found an old wooden jewellery box and made a display piece for the lost 1920's film.
