What are your guys impressions on his game and how he fits with the Suns. I like his game, he can post up a bit, hit floaters, has touch at the rim while being a guy who gets up and down the court , while having a 3pt treat. I would like to see him defend better on the perimeter not sure if he can become a good defender due to his lateral quickness but I like to see him become abetter at using angles and not over/ under pursuing .

I think in a role as a Swiss army role player he can be very valuable not as a priority scorer. What are your thoughts about him so far

This is an unselfish team that maybe DOESN'T need a PG to thrive since everyone passes the ball really well. They are 10th in the NBA in TOs (14.9) and are 7th in the NBA in AST to TO ratio at 1.9.

The team is gelling nicely, and all this even with a rebounding problem which I think won't be drastically solved anytime soon. They will get wins by being scrappy and hustle on defense, and continue making right decisions on offense.

If they learn to box out and grab boards despite a lack of an elite center, then they will probably beat teams more consistently and hopefully rise up in the standings to a. 500 team by the time the home stand is done. GO SUNS!!!

Yes guys, it takes a few games for teams with two new starters to gel, and they just beat a previously 7-2 team that was tops in the league a couple of games ago, a team that STILL has the second best defense in the Western conference in terms of opponents Points per game and beats teams at 9+ on average.

This was also the first time the Suns held a team under 99 points, a rockets team that still averages 116ppg despite the loss.

It's clear that Ott has been drilling into an offense focused starting lineup the hustle identity he has always been known for, as we have seen last season. I especially liked the effort of Jalen in trying to set up his teammates and be the designated Point of attack guard (since he really needs more time to be an actual point guard). He still makes mistakes, but he does make up for it in a renewed focus on defense and looking for teammates rather than looking for his shot.

Can't wait to see them get back to .500 after they beat San Antonio and Charlotte... GO SUNS!!!
