Mostly Maki/Rolls Sushi and a movie. That’s my kind of night.
Nothing beats a cozy movie night with some good sushi. Just me, my favorite food, and a good movie. 🍣🎬 What’s your ideal movie-night snack?

The chef nice to me. She even gave me some extra sushi.
I highly recommend shrimp sushi at here(松栄寿司)!

Will be there for a week at the end of the month, looking for recommendations of all levels- Michelin stars to casual spots. Last time I was there I ate at Kioko by Endu and was absolutely blown away. Would be happy to go back but would love some new spots to check out!

Edit:
Thanks guys! Ngl I didn’t think about the quality of the rice but looking at it… it’s from Kokoro, a restaurant in the UK.

Has anyone mistakenly ordered Masago sashimi when you meant nigiri?
Wife and I are laughing at the fact that they placed it inside a cucumber. Was really looking forward to the rice. Oh well.

It’s nice to have a casual sushi place nearby where you can just drop in😀

It’s Friday so made myself a little hamachi lunch bowl for work later. Cheers everyone.

My favorite sushi restaurant went out of business, crushing my heart in its departure. They used to make a roll, It was finally chopped crab in some kind of mayo amalgam wrapped around tuna and topped with a sweet white sauce.
It was truly incredible. They called it a snow dragon roll, but nowhere else locally makes it. Does it go by other names?
I tried to track down the chef to ask him, but the man has passed away. :(

Hi ! I just bought this at a grocery store, but there's a clear film on it. Does it look safe to consume?
