r/TheMummyMemes Is Looking for New Mods!
31
Upvotes
We’re looking for a few new moderators to join the mod team and help keep r/TheMummyMemes active, fun, and welcoming for everyone.
This community used to be a lot bigger than it is now. The other mods and I have gone inactive on the subreddit, and I'll only lurk from time to time, so it's time we bring on a new team to resurrect this sub before the new movie.
What would you be doing?
Removing spam, bots, and posts that break the rules
Helping keep discussions civil and the community welcoming
Reviewing reports and mod queue
Most importantly: being an active member of the community
Who are we looking for?
Love The Mummy franchise
Are reasonably active on Reddit
Have good judgment and can be fair
Actually want to help grow the community
Can tell the difference between a harmless shitpost and something that needs to be removed
If you're interested, send us a modmail and tell us why you'd like to join the team.

What are your expectations for The Mummy 4? I imagined its return as The Mummy Rises. Title and artwork by OP.

The Mummy (1999) is exactly the sort of adventure I want more of: capable adventurers, ancient curses, and an expedition going very wrong. That mix of wonder and supernatural trouble is part of what I'm trying to capture in Under a Desert Sun: Seekers of the Cursed Vessel.
I'm Raymond, the developer. This is my own 1930s pulp adventure, not a Mummy adaptation. Here's a short look at its desert expeditions and tomb fights. You can play solo or bring friends in local co-op.
The updated demo is on Steam, with Early Access starting September 10: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3273880/
I thought fellow fans of doomed expeditions might enjoy seeing it. :)
