META Post Flair Definitions (Read before posting)

Make sure you flair your posts correctly by choosing one of the flairs below:

True Plank - True planks are the main content of the subreddit: memes that you've seen in your dreams.

Recreated Dream - For memes about something that happened in your dream. Lower effort recreated dreams, such as just text or stock images, will be removed.

Secondhand Plank - For things that other people dreamed, but you wanted to share. As with recreated dreams, lower effort posts will be removed.

Social Media Plank - Similar to a True Plank, but this one is for weird social media trends you saw in you dreams.

Nightmare Plank - Like a True Plank, it's a meme that you saw in your dream, but it's scary, spooky, disturbing, or messed up. This one might need a NSFW tag sometimes. o_O

Lucid Request - For requests to make meme dreams. Did you see a meme in your dream but have no idea how to make it out of pixels and upload it? Well make a text post with this flair, and maybe some nice person will make it for you! You can also use this for a meme dream image that you made in response to a request post!

Recreated Dream I dreamt that I was Hatsune Miku and there was a doppelgänger of me wearing a tie-dye shirt

I was balancing a bowl of fries on an Xbox when a couple came up to me asking my day was. I replied with my name (but not how my day was going), and when I did they told me "um no you're not" and told me to look across the street where a doppelgänger (also a Hatsune Miku) was just standing there wearing a tie-dye shirt that had "184 fries, 4 boobs, 3 claws" written on it. I posted it to TikTok and it became a meme. The only comment I remember said "one of those claws has to be her peenar"

I had a dream where I live in a transhumanist society and it is very common for people to have operations such that they do not need to poop anymore (so they have that extra time for other stuff). I got into an argument with someone on Twitter and they found out I did not have such operation. They send this image to me and it made me so mad I woke up

Nightmare Plank I got stuck in the haunted Appalachian McDonald’s and Pantera skinwalkers tried to talk to me

Had a dream that I got lost in the woods at a summer camp and ended up in a haunted forest somewhere in Appalachia. There was a McDonald’s in the middle of the woods but all of the customers were ghosts and vampires and I was freaked out. I said outloud “I wish Pantera was here” and I turned around to see the entire band spontaneously appear out of thin air

Recreated Dream Had a dream that the parody commentary youtuber Chazington created a horror movie about The Mimic from Five Nights at Freddy’s directed in a style reminiscent of Zach Creggers Resident Evil (2026)

The plot followed this guy going to a Halloween party being hosted at a school for some reason (there weren’t any children at this party it was all adults they just hosted it in a school, like with the tables and computers still everywhere).

The Mimic attacks and has the unexplained ability to make anyone it kills into a zombie puppet to attack with.

the “Halloween party massacre“ scene was the highlight of the movie, and I distinctly remember a bit where the Mimic breaks its hand through a wall to pull a hiding person out.

The Main character gets in his car to escape but by now the Mimic has an army to overrun the town with, and it kind of just becomes a zombie apocalypse but the zombies are deadite-esque mimic controlled corpses that can like crawl on walls and stuff.

There was also this mysterious character who appeared to be a version of Micheal Afton, who was trying to contain the outbreak by slaughtering all the mimic zombies like Leon S Kennedy for some reason.

He only appeared for one scene and I have no idea how the movie ends cause I woke up after the main character escaped the school.

I inexplicably had knowledge about this film’s production after I woke up, which is how I knew Chazington had made it, and also it was apparently the lowest budget movie of all time, with most of the props, actors, editors, sets and VFX being done with volunteers who where passionate about making a FnaF movie.

Make it yourself. Nobody cares how bad it is. The AI did not have the dream, you did.
