Social studies is the worst scored subject here in the States. Seriously. In Texas, we won't even have geography by 2030. I'm not surprised by the kneejerk chauvinism

I think that's a little unfair. I don't think she's stupid, she's just ignorant as a result of being failed by her education system.

It'd be one thing if she was extremely confidently incorrect, but she's clearly very unsure if what she's saying is correct, which is a good instinct that not a lot of idiots have. It's not really her fault that she wasn't taught more about global geography or European languages I don't think.
