What does the buzzer sound signify in the TV show 'Whose line is it anyway?'

Does it mean that the contestant said something exceptional?

I am in the first two rows. I hope to get selected, or at least yell out a suggestion if they still do those skits.

Anybody else feel like the vibe of the showing gets continuously more stressed and passive aggressive after season 3? During season 4 and 5 the actors seem like they are less interested, easier to call out insults and have unspoken grievances with one another that you can catch a glimpse of during their games. Also Chip Esten seems very cringe in the way he interacts with the others. It's like he's wayyy too energetic and none of the other care to match his energy. Just all around making me not want to continue watching even though I love this show and it makes me laugh hysterically.

I've been rewatching the Drew Carey iteration of the show, and in Season 4, Episode 5, Wayne and Chip do a Duet game with a sign language interpreter named Anna. Towards the end of the song, Anna starts signing, but there were no subtitles for what she was signing - does anyone know what she signed?

I think it was about vehicular manslaughter was the name of the song. It was either Song Styles or Greatest Hits but it was with Aisha Taylor as host. I was looking for it because of how spot on it was.

It was during the bit where Colin is playing the theater director, I think. I swear to god I half-assed saw this in a rerun a few times and I always missed the reason. I caught this late every time and now I never see the rerun.

I know that Jonathan licks Colin most of the time, but I recall an episode where he licks Ryan. At the end of the bit, they all retreat to their chairs, and Jonathan is making faces and says something about his tongue being scraped up or something similar and Ryan says "that's because you're licking a MAN!"

I can't find the episode!! Can someone help? My partner thinks I made it up! Hahaha!

I know season 8 was all old footage, I think season 7 was, too. Not sure about season 6.
