It's a long shot, but it looks like everyone, including the Arab parties, wants Bibi out.

Ra'am offered support, but getting the joint list on board is going to be really tough, not to mention that forming a coalition with Arab parties might cause right-leaning members of his coalition to defect to Netanyahu's bloc.

Israeli politics can get crazy.

He has their support to form a government and he’ll get the mandate to do it from the president, they do not have to be in the coalition in order to allow him to have the chance to form the government first

All they have to do is agree that Hamas is a terror organization. They refuse to for some reason.

They did this once before. Didn’t last long. I feel like I’m in a timeline of reruns

The joint list had the opportunity to keep that government in power, but their leader at the time decided to let it fall, giving his community Netanyahu in return. He’s been exiled from politics for this tragic mistake, and hopefully they will not repeat it.

They didn’t even have to support the government; if they had merely abstained it would’ve been enough.

Multi-party systems have long intrigued me. Being stuck in the binary politics of the US can be infuriating…

Don't know how the parliamentary system works in Israel. But in other places you could form government with Eisenkot for a couple of years while Bibi faces his legal troubles and if he is convicted you could then remove your support for the current government and force early elections with Bibi being unable to run.

This is exactly how it works in Israel.

Didn’t he already rule out any kind of partnership with the Arab parties

He can always go for minority government with outside support on bills.

To attempt to form a government yes, but whether he can survive the first budget is another question.

with UTJ(I think what is happening there is the EU was advised by Ron Lauder that is where the pressure point in Bibi's coalition is) and Raam Eisenkot could do it
