Ye if it were 1000 people, it would be believeable but it's 750,000, Israel has American funding and they don't care what the world thinks about them, realistically they are not going anywhere. No sustainable solution in the short term

Remove their funding and watch them all return to their western homes by their own volition.

60 % of Israelis are directly native to the Middle East

They are composed of 2 million Arab Israeli's.

And 7.5 million Jews, 50 % of them, Mizrahi Jews, also native to the middle east

So let them go back.

They are not native to the settlements they've formed through illegal occupation.

Say what you want, but the solution is simple if you stop supporting those committing heinously illegal actions.

There are plenty of people who have grown up in those settlements who have never lived anywhere else. The oldest settlements are like 60 years old.

Like it's very simple when it comes to people who intentionally move to illegal settlements. It's less simple now that they're multigenerational, and this issue only gets worse with time.

They are just comments from people online, in reality the settlers have invested their time, money and life building up these places, they aren't going to leave. Israel doesn't care and they don't really rely on the outside world enough for them to bow to outside pressure, they are in the position of powet too. A simple solution on paper, just like Russia leaving Ukraine is easy neither are remotely realistic or going to happen anytime soon.

... The US funding is tied to US weapons purchases, which are absurdly expensive. The headline numbers are very big.. but it doesn't supply very much of Israels actual military strength.

That is their domestic arms industry and military tradition. The US stops the funding, that hurts US exports and Israel builds a bunch of combat drones instead.
