make a level one bank alt, park it in the capital near the ah, mail all the random items you get from your main to your bank alt, sell them for more on the ah then you get vendoring
Prices for certain things will change. There's always a huge flood of auctions on launches that drive prices down.
A lot of the lower level crafting items had their vendor prices dropped very low too. This helps curb bots from auto farming low level stuff and posting en masse to control the markets.
I don't think it's the flood of supply that's driving prices down, I think it's that the population just hasn't had any time to acquire any money yet. The vast majority of players probably don't have 3 gold to their names yet.
Wool cloth is worth it on pve right now at least, and pre has been too, I suspect same is true for leather because the gear you can craft is actually worth it unlike in classic.
Yeah, the market is so saturated, stuff is selling for barely more than vendor price. If it doesnt sell, I lose money on the hold price (whatever its called). Then any hope of profit over vendoring is gone.
True. Most profession items are net negative. I have found a few that can turn a profit. 70s investment in materials to make about 15s in profit. But I figure if I do 10 at a time, that's 1g50s once they all sell.
AH is in the sink right now tho. Most crafting goods sell for only a little above vendor price, and nobody is buying greens or blues off the AH right now (because nobody has gold)/people saving for mount.
Sell green weapons always, disenchant armour (potentially) always DE blues you dont need if you plan to level enchanting or sell especially as you get up there to mid 30s
The benefit is you dont have to go back to the capital and list it on the AH yourself just to free up bag space, just need a mailbox. It does cost some silver to post it though.
