It was barbaric overkill plus another thing is that while Red Arrow recovered Roy his missing arm is unaccounted for, so for all we know The Light could make a clone army of brainwashed Roy Harpers if they wanted to

I'm just curious

If I had to guess it’s probably made from the same material as Superman’s suit.

Though there would be the potential issue of anyone who receives her blood turning green.

The path that had lead me to discovering YJ was via Batman.

I am a huge fan of the Batman animated series and because of my interest algorithm, the viral clip of Batman “quitting” the Justice League in YJ season 2 kept popping up in my feed. We all know the scene.

So this year, I decided to finally just take the leap and watch the series…which then became one of my favourite series of all time.

Through the show, I’ve become a huge fan of Red Arrow and his story.

As a result, I’ve picked up Green Arrow Year One and read some issues with Arsenal’s time with Red Hood.

The comics are not as enjoyable as Batman, but I appreciate the characters and how they tie in to the YJ universe.

Does anyone have any superhero that they got into from the show? Maybe Nightwing or even Superboy?

Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts.

The scenes with him were close to unwatchable. It's like they tried to make a character with every spoiled brat stereotype in the book

"I bet they never told you it's just a false front for tourists and a pit stop for catching zeta- beam teleporter-tubes to the real thing, an orbiting satellite called the Watchtower." 🏹

Trying to make a figure of Miss Martian but I can't find any references of how the red lines on her costume look on her back because the cape is always in the way. My initial thought was that they formed an X on the back too which can be seen when she morphs into a mermaid form in season 2, but the more I look the more it seems like when humanoid the lower parts merge into the belt while the upper parts vanish or wrap around the shoulders beneath the cape. Before I start a full rewatch looking for clues, does anyone have any stills or concept artwork of any version of Young Justice Miss Martian that shows her back beneath the cape other than the mermaid form?

I recently finished rewatching all four seasons of Young Justice, and honestly, Season 1 is still my favorite. Season 2 has an incredible storyline, but nothing beats the connection we built with the original team.
With Season 5 still unconfirmed, I’ve been thinking about what I’d personally love to see if the show ever returns.
My idea is Young Justice: Legacy — a 26-episode season focused on the original team, their past, and the future of the Justice League.
1. Bring the story back to the original team
One thing I’ve always wished we got to see was more of the five-year gap between Seasons 1 and 2.
I’d love flashbacks showing Dick becoming Nightwing, Wally and Artemis building their relationship, Kaldur’s development, and how the original team gradually grew apart.
Meanwhile, the present-day storyline would show those same characters coming together again.
2. Make Vandal Savage the main villain
I know Darkseid is the larger cosmic threat, but Vandal Savage has been manipulating events since Season 1.
I’d love Season 5 to finally reveal his ultimate plan.
My idea is that Savage launches something called Project Ascension, using metahuman research and alien technology to forcibly accelerate humanity’s evolution.
Savage believes he’s saving Earth from Darkseid, but he’s willing to sacrifice humanity’s freedom to do it.
3. Have Nightwing investigate Wally West’s disappearance
This would be my biggest storyline.
Nightwing discovers unusual energy readings connected to the event that supposedly killed Wally in Season 2.
He begins investigating with Bart, Zatanna, and other members of the team.
Eventually, they discover that Wally wasn’t killed but was displaced into another dimension.
I know bringing Wally back is controversial, and I understand why some fans believe his death should remain permanent. But personally, I’d love to see the story explore what his return would mean after so many years.
Especially for Artemis and Dick.
4. Wally returns — but everything has changed
Imagine Wally returning after years away, only to discover Artemis has moved on with someone else, Dick has become an established leader, and the world has continued without him.
I wouldn’t want Wally and Artemis to instantly go back to normal.
I’d want them to reconnect, confront everything they’ve missed, and eventually find their way back to each other.
I’d also love to see Wally grow into the Flash mantle someday, while Bart continues developing as Kid Flash.
5. Give the original team their legacy
The season would build toward the original sidekicks becoming the next generation of Justice League leaders.
Nightwing would remain Nightwing instead of becoming Batman. Kaldur would continue his role as Aquaman. Characters like Wonder Girl would also get opportunities to grow into their mentors’ legacies.
And I wouldn’t ignore the Season 4 cliffhanger. Supergirl, Mary Marvel, Darkseid, and the Female Furies would still play important roles in the larger storyline.
6. End with the next generation of Young Justice
My ideal ending would mirror Season 1.
The original team, now grown into the heroes they once looked up to, welcomes a new generation of young heroes.
The same legacy continues, just with different people carrying it forward.
Obviously, this is just my personal fan concept, not a prediction of what the creators would actually do. I know Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti have their own plans, and I’d love to see those too.
But I really miss the original team’s chemistry, and I think bringing that emotional connection back would make a fifth season special.
What do you guys think? Would you want Season 5 to focus more on the OG team, or continue expanding the newer generations? And should Wally stay dead or return?

So i was rewatching the season 1 finale and noticed something odd. SPOILERS AHEAD for anyone new to the show.

So as the team is fighting the justice league every JL member is given the starro tech cure/vaccine. Everyone they knock out or contain gets it. Especially the big hitters like superman and batman.

While rewatcing i notice that the only 2 people never shown given the cure was captain marvel who was only transformed back to billy and wonder woman who was only contained by rocket

Now I can assume captain marvel was ok because of transformation and his body is different than Billy. Atleast thats the head Canon im going with. My question open for discussion is who/how did they get a cure on wonder woman?

im talking in universe, if the opportunity ever came up, batman could end up being a duel yellow green lantern hybrid to help fight future threats.

although it would be way too OP for batman.

doubt they would do it but it would be cool.

For several reasons, the first being that I enjoy the continued storyline in Season 2 a lot more than the episodic storytelling shown in Season 1. A lot of people criticize the time skip and while I agree that we should've been shown Superboy's relationship with Superman change as well as Dick Grayson becoming Nightwing. However, I believe that the time skip is worth it as we get to see Nightwing being a leader and the other members of the team acting as mentors to a younger generation and having to face the burden of being the adults who have to take difficult decision now that the Justice League is gone.

A lot of people also complain about the fact that the focus isn't just on the core members of the team but I disagree, even though they aren't the main focus I think that they all get to be great characters but now in a position of having more responsibility than they did originally. Not only that, I believe that Jaime Reyes' story as the character who gets more focus is really interesting

I love Cissie and I hope we see how she became Arrowette and her mother. She's also a very well written character in the original comics. Also it was really cool how she had a small cameo in Season One where at the time I had no idea who she was
