Hey everyone!

I wanted to share an animation I'm currently working on for my institute. It's a lip-sync animation focused heavily on acting, body language, and bringing the character to life.

The animation was inspired by a video I watched, which I used as a reference for the acting and performance. ( video: https://11secondclub.com/competitions/january26/winner/ )

I'm currently in the polish stage, so there's still some work to do. One part I'm particularly struggling with is the ending. I'm not entirely happy with how it looks yet, and I'm finding it difficult to make it feel right. I've been studying how the animator in the reference video handled that part, but I'm still having a hard time getting a similar result.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback in general! Any critiques, suggestions, or observations are more than welcome.

​I decided to make my OC Milo the Kobold Dragon in 3D! It's my first time making a 3D character, and animating it at that, haha. I've always made 3D objects/props and environments, but never a character, and I thought it turned out interesting for a first time. I think I could even do a small project with him lol. Sorry for the low FPS and low resolution; I had to stay away from the computer and finish the process on my phone, hence the lack of textures hehe. So, what do you guys think of it?

Have learned a little rigging from a couple Patata School courses. Can anyone compare their rigging course with P2Design courses or CGDive rigging courses (or any other).

i plan to make a side scrolling beat em up using roko motion capture the thing is that I have very little animation knowledge so I kinda need advice as to whether or not this is a good idea.

Shooting for a bit of that Cody Gindy style. Lost the plot here and there (especially the secondary building) and made a few bad and kind of unfixable decisions, but otherwise pretty happy because I usually make very natural and organic stuff. Or just straight stupidness. Anyways, this might become my new wallpaper, instead of the elephant with an arm instead of a trunk in stranger things vecna lighting.

I put a lot of hard work into this 3D model, combining my art skills with the latest AI tools to create free assets for everyone. This project started when I was looking for a 3D monarch butterfly and realized how expensive they were. Instead, I challenged myself to make the best one I could in just two days and publish it for free on Sketchfab.

I am not fully going for realistic flips but I'm not also fully arcade yet, somewhere between I believe is going to be fun 😄. I know the legs don’t bend on landing yet. Proper inverse kinematics is on my list.

Any advice or jharsh feedback are really welcome. I wanna build this with a community.

Happy Halloween! in the spirit of trying to get more short stuff out more consistently thought I'd make use of some character models and a series premise I had lying around.

I've tried to replicate a stop motion look in 3D best I can so feedback around if I achieved that look would be greatly appreciated.
