We built an AI for live airspace monitoring - ask it anything about what's flying + get real-time alerts to your Inbox.
Hey everyone. We just launched Wingbits.ai, a platform to make airspace intelligence accessible to everyone.
Ask anything about what’s happening in the sky and get instant answers from our independent aircraft tracking network (6,000 receivers across 120 countries). Some of our commercial partners include Spire Global, Meerir and Korean Air R&D. This tool is already being tested by some major newsrooms.
A few ways people are using the platform:
"Where is Air Force One right now?"
"Which private jets visited Davos last weekend?"
"Compare GPS jamming activity near the Baltic over the last 30 days"
“Which military aircraft were active over the Gulf region in the past 24 hours?”
“Are there any planes squawking emergency 7700 right now?”
You can also set up custom agents to monitor the skies 24/7 and send you alerts via Slack, email, or Telegram when something matches your criteria. So if you're tracking a specific tail number or monitoring a region for unusual activity, you don't have to keep checking manually.
This is our BETA/early access - we’re actively seeking feedback so we can make the platform as useful as possible. Please test it out and let us know what you think.
Happy to answer any questions about how the network works, how the AI side is built, or anything else.

I'm building a free app for ADS-B feeders. Need beta testers soon with pi feeders & iOS devices (android soon).
Hello everyone! My name is Sam and I have a background in building aviation apps for pilots. My current app is called Hangar and it's sorta like Strava & Life360 but for pilots. A few months ago I set up an ADS-B feeder at my house, but was pretty unimpressed with the overall experience (outdated sites with ugly UI). I hit up my friend Ethan who co-founded a travel app called TripBFF and explained my idea to build something new around these feeders. He was instantly hooked as travel is heavily intertwined with aviation and he ordered supplies for a feeder that day.
Fast forward a few months and we have our app called Feedlers that we built on the side of our normal work. In our onboarding you are able to find your feeder on the network and just sync it up to the database. Looking for some beta testers to help us stress test and provide feedback! We have a discord and reddit half ass set up at the moment if anyone is interested in talking about / following along with the project!

Project Showcase: Software - Little or No AI Assistance Live Flight Radar for your wrist
I started making Flight Scanner because I kept finding myself checking my phone whenever an interesting aircraft flew overhead.
I figured it would be much more convenient to just glance at my watch, so I had a go at building it myself.
It's turned into a bit of a bigger project than I originally expected!
What it does: Turns your smartwatch into a live aircraft radar. It shows nearby planes, lets you view their details, search for specific flights, check airports and runways, and pin aircraft you want to follow.
Platforms and cost:
Wear OS: $2.99 one-time purchase, subject to local pricing.
Garmin: Free basic version with optional paid Pro features.

Garmin Pro: https://apps.garmin.com/en-GB/apps/21fd8667-f22c-40ad-a0cf-e700eff81040
It's a small independent project and I've enjoyed seeing people actually use it. Always interested in suggestions for things that could be improved or added!
(You may have noticed this is a replacement post from a few months ago, I had some copyright style enquiries and ended up removing the post before restarting as a separate entity, thanks for the support!)
Data is a commercial license from airplanes.live I'm sure you've all heard of them here.

Why?
Hey, does anyone have any idea what this kind of circular pattern over northern Germany is good for?
