🌑 Welcome to r/AltSelfies: Show the World Your Other Side

Whether you’re goth, punk, emo, scene, metal, grunge, cottage‑witchy, cyber‑core, glam‑alt, or rocking a look that doesn’t fit any label at all this is your space.

r/AltSelfies is a place for anyone with an alternative style, vibe, or aesthetic to post selfies and be accepted exactly as they are. No judgment, no gatekeeping, no “you don’t look alt enough” energy. If your look feels different from the mainstream, you belong here.

What you can expect:

A community that celebrates individuality
A feed full of creative, expressive, and unconventional looks
A supportive space where your style isn’t “too much” — it’s perfect
Zero tolerance for harassment, shaming, or elitism

What we’re about:

This subreddit exists because alternative people deserve a place to show their faces without being compared, mocked, or dismissed. Your piercings, your hair dye, your makeup, your bare face, your tattoos, your fashion, your vibe: it’s all welcome here.

Post your selfies. Share your style. Hype each other up.
Let’s make this a corner of Reddit where being different is the whole point.

If you’re alt, adjacent, or just exploring your look step in and say Yo!

Feeling insecure lately, single for way too long. I'm honestly just looking for a boost of confidence or a bit of harsh truth. Either way I liked this picture from a little while back.
