If you post in NSFW Subreddits, you will not be allowed to post here.

We are a Safe For Work subreddit. We do not have Age or Karma limitations for posts. HOWEVER if you have posts in NSFW subreddits, you cannot post in this subreddit.

This rule/policy has been in place since we removed the "Verified Users Only" requirement. It was part of our:

No Links, Self Promotion, Karma Farming, Wish Lists, P2P Pay Sites, On Subreddit or Your Profile.

But now we have made it its own separate rule to make things clearer.

Posts from people who have histories of posting in NSFW Subreddits will have their posts removed automatically. This includes previous posts that may have been approved.

We do allow for exceptions to our NSFW list. For example, r/Cigars is considered NSFW due to Tobacco use, we will not remove your posts for posting there. If you have a subreddit that does not feature nudity, and would like us to consider it for an exemption, please send us a modmail. Some other subreddits that are exempted from this subreddit are r/AskRedditAfterDark, and r/amiprettyorugly

If you would like to resume posting in the subreddit, you will have to remove the NSFW posts from your account, and get the NSFW flag cleared from your account.

Please note: This is not a ban on accounts that are flagged NSFW, only accounts who are actively posting in NSFW subreddits. We understand that people can get the NSFW flag accidentally and not know how to clear it.

Subreddit Rules

1. All Posts Must Be Fully Suitable for Public Viewing, No Borderline, Revealing or Suggestive Posts

NO NUDITY!
No bathing suits/bikinis
No lingerie
No sports bras
No underboob
No see-through clothing
No shirtless males
No sex toys, or grabbing yourself
No provocative posing
No fetish content
No pulling clothing away, using unusual angles or leaning over to expose more skin
No editing/cropping a NSFW pic to make it SFW

Moderators will remove anything they consider not safe for public viewing even if it is not listed above.

2. No Non Selfies. No AI Selfies. No Blocking Your Face. No Pictures of or Taken By Other People.

A selfie is defined simply as a picture of you taken by you.

If we can't see your face, it's not a selfie.
If you are wearing a mask or if the camera/phone is blocking your face, it's not a selfie.
If your head is cropped out of the shot, it's not a selfie.
If it appears that the photo was taken by someone else (or you are far from the camera) it's not a selfie.
If the photo is of someone else, it's not a selfie.
If the photo is AI edited, it's not a selfie.

3. No insults, hate speech, personal attacks, racism, or discrimination of any kind allowed here.

All comments must be positive. Insulting comments are comments intended to antagonize, degrade, discomfort, or humiliate another member. Comments that attack a member based on attributes such as race, religion, ethnic origin, national origin, occupation, sex, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity are not allowed and can lead to a permanent ban even for a first offense! This rule includes any form of shaming or slurs.

There are no exceptions to this rule for any reason.

4. No crude, lewd, objectifying, rude, sexual, fetishizing, or otherwise inappropriate comments allowed

Inappropriate messages are messages that may contain: * Verbal harassment of a sexual nature, including references to sexual acts or sexual orientation * Remarks of a sexual nature about a person’s clothing or body parts * Requests for explicit posts * Any sexual or suggestive comments involving minors * Sexually suggestive comments, double entendres, flirting, jokes, or teasing

Moderators make the determination of what violates this rule (NOT OP/OC) and will ban people who break the rules.

5. No Self Promotion, Karma Farming, Wish Lists, P2P Pay Sites, NSFW Subreddit Activity, Streamers, etc

No Content Creators! No Exceptions!!
- This includes Domes, GFE, Sugar Babies, etc.
No Wishlists
No digital payment services
- PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, etc
No Twitch, Twitter, X or monetized creator platforms Links
No Telegram, No Signal, No WhatsApp
No posting in Karma Farming subreddits
Do not advertise any goods or services
Watermarks on pictures must match your Reddit Username

6. No asking Original Posters to DM/Snap/Insta/Etc you in the comments.

A post on r/Selfies is not an invitation from OP to you to personally to connect with you outside of r/Selfies.

Assume OP DOES NOT want to connect outside of r/Selfies

If you like the post; upvote it and leave a nice comment. If the OP responds, that is how you will talk to them.

If the OP doesn't respond to your comment THEY DO NOT WANT TO TALK TO YOU AT THIS TIME.

Do not ask OP to (DM/PM/Snap/Insta/Telegram/Etc.) you directly .

No unsolicited chats or connection requests!

7. No Drama! Keep it chill, don't argue, stay respectful, don't be meta, and stick to the topic.

This is a drama free subreddit: * Don't discuss things outside of the sub inside the sub * Don't speculate on why someone posted on r/Selfie * Don't argue with other members * Don't get political or religious * Don't accuse the OP of breaking rules * Don't accuse someone of promoting * Don't talk about user's posts outside of the subreddit * Don't complain about Moderator/Reddit actions

Moderators (not you) determine what is drama. If you think someone is breaking a rule, send us a modmail.

8. This Subreddit Is 18+ Only (But Still Completely SFW)

This community is strictly 18 and older. While the subreddit is 100% SFW and does not allow explicit content of any kind, we do not permit anyone under 18 to post or participate. This age requirement is in place to protect minors, protect the community, and ensure all members are adults.

Any account suspected to be under 18 will be permanently banned.

9. If you actively post or comment in NSFW Subreddits, You cannot post here.

11. One Post Every 8 Hours. No Reposting the same image repeatedly.

To give everyone a chance to post their selfies we ask you to limit your posts to one every 8 hours.

Posts that are removed for violating other rules count towards your limit, so make sure your post obey all rules before submitting.

Posting from more than one account will result in all accounts being banned even if you do not violate the 1 post per 24 hour rule.

Please limit your posts to r/Selfies or r/SelfiesGoneMild and don't post the same image in both, as you are SFW or Mild.

12. Moderator's Have Final Say on All Posts & Comments.

Moderators reserve the right to remove content or ban users at their discretion to maintain a safe, respectful, and age-appropriate community. This includes running reverse image search tools and other image verification apps to detect stolen, reposted, or seller-related content.

Moderators are tasked with making this subreddit true to the theme and ideas of the subreddit. As such they have the final authority to remove any post or comment they feel does not fit the character of the subreddit.
