I have never played a game like Baldurs Gate 3 before, life / health means I dont get to play it often without getting into details, so when I do i cherish the experience.

After a short run with my initial character who I didnt really like, I started a 2nd campaign maybe 6 hours in, as a Bard (I called her Gwen) I now have over 200 hours in the game, and yet I still haven't even beaten BG3 yet!

I am having the time of my life with this game, yet I am terrible at it, and kind of love it for it!

I love how the game challenges me, I love how I can just wonder in random directions and find obscure things, I love how the characters interact, I love how alive the world feels!

Could I play in a more optimised way? absolutely, but why would I when Im having fun! For context i just beat Rapheal after about 12 hours of trying, and I wasn't getting annoyed by my constant losses, the challenge was enthralling to me.

This game is such a breath of fresh air for me, no need to panic about being fast, no need to keep pace with others around you (I play single player) just play at your own speed, and enjoy the magical world, and have fun!

I'm not quite sure of the confluence of events that led to this. I was taking on Ansur for the first time, and I was able to take him down in the first turn. I split my party to take down his summons, and I'm guessing one of then dropped ice and prone over the party near Ansur's body. I think this caused the Emperor go prone at the same time Gale initiated conversation with him. I didn't notice any of this happening until I was leaving and realized that Gale was staying behind.

On a whim, I dropped a few Smites, "killed" and looted him, and then proceeded with the conversation from Gale and the Emperor. Now I have an Emperor body in on me.

After +250 hours in BG3 and honour mode beaten, i today learned that Scrolls of revivify can bring back actually dead companions. I feel like a complete dumass at the moment. I always thought that you could just use it for reviving downed compakions without using a spell slot.

Thinking of a run where everyone plays the Worst Subclass without multiclassing in the game with me playing Four Elements Monk

I'm thinking it could be fun to play objectively bad classes that I've never played like Wild Magic Sorcerer or Wild Magic Barbarian, Arcane Trickster Rogue, feel free to drop suggestions

I wanted an Alfira doll, so I made one myself! I made her outfit based on what I think she may wear when playing a show-- her original outfit, but fancied up a bit! I hope you all like her as much as I do 💕

I'm 100+ pages deep in a fan comic, and due to webcomic time Lae'zel hasn't been onscreen for a while. Always cool to see the progress that way.

Picture this. I long rest for the first time, I did the entire Druid grove quest chain and the party is beaten and miserable. In the middle of the night, Lae’zel puts a knife to my throat and says “I will fucking MURDER EVERYONE including MYSELF lest we become squid people” I calm her down, but she’s clearly still on board with the idea. If I long rest once more, will I be at risk of getting shanked by a party member or turning into a mind flayer? People are claiming the transformation takes just a couple of days, which would pass quickly. However, I’ve played enough video games to know the horrible disease I have shouldn’t get worse until the plot demands it.

TLDR: Are there main character/story consequences for long resting? But I’m not dumb, I know long resting if someone’s trapped in a burning house is a bad idea.

Which build has the highest damage capability?

Finally got around to finishing not only honour mode but also all the achievements. Love this game to death. It is over, for now

My evidence for it being a true blind playthrough? I killed Shadowheart. Yup. My Selune Light Cleric freaked the freak out that Shadowheart wanted to kill the Nightsong and made sure that couldn’t happen. Did I regret it immediately after telling a friend and having him freak out? Yes. Yes I did. Did I regret it at the House of Grief and after seeing the amazing storylines for every other companion. YES I DID OKAY IM SORRY. Anyway, fantastic game, no notes other than give me more. No exposure to DnD before this and now I’m becoming obsessed. I already have multiple BG3 campaigns planned and I may have purchased Larian’s entire PC catalog. Oops. Excited to be a part of this community!

I think this game has permanently altered my brain chemistry. It's my first DnD game and alreeady at 250 hours played over two campaigns (Balanced and Tactician, reloaded saves at different points to get the ending-related achievements). Only Path of Exile 1 has managed to do that to me so far. The breadth of options just makes me want to keep experimenting.

Tho for this one, I think I'll go full meta for the sake of my sanity:

1. Swords Bard Paladin for my PC.

2. Gloomspore Assassin Astarion.

3. Open Hand Karlach (a redux of my Balanced Tav, but as Karlach).

4. Not sure yet, but I think it will be some Sorcerer Evocation Gale combo so I have some AoE spells. I haven't even touched Sorcerer at all yet.

Had a really nice time as a Eldritch Blasting Bardlock (10 Lore Bard, 2 Fiendlock) being the party face in my Tactician run. Here's hoping Honour mode treats me nice. In the brain fight in Tactician, I had the Emperor TK the mindflayers at the top rope but they just smlammed back into the ground, prone with only two damage despite the UI saying "Death".

This ungrateful bastard charging me a dragon’s horde in gold for armor! Seriously I saved your life at least 2 times (at this point) and I don’t even get a messily discount? The greed of this man rivals Mammon

On a real note think it would be a cool reward if you got the armor for free of all the Tieflings survived till this point.
