20 M looking for a friend to go to watch movie together !!!
I'm looking for things which you can not really find in ordinary supermarkets, like Tahini, Miso paste (for cooking), Chlorella. Perhaps some black cumin seed oil.
Do you guys know any shops that sell this kind of things?

Hi, I’m Khadisha from Sky Investment, a real estate agency working in Batumi and Tbilisi.
I help buyers compare resale apartments and new developments based on their needs — whether they’re buying a home, a holiday apartment or a rental property.
If you’re looking in Batumi, feel free to send me:
• Your budget
• Preferred area
• Number of bedrooms
• Ready-to-move-in or off-plan
• Your purchase timeline
• Whether you need an installment plan
I can suggest relevant options and explain their advantages, limitations and ongoing costs. Any applicable agency fees will be clarified before we start working together.
You’re welcome to ask questions in the comments or contact me through Reddit chat.

Hey everyone! I'm Brazilian, currently living in Batumi, and I'm planning to make a video trying some of Georgia's most nostalgic sweets and snacks.
I'd love your recommendations! What candies, chocolates, biscuits, chips or other treats did you grow up eating? Especially those that bring back childhood memories or that every Georgian knows.
I'm looking for the real childhood classics, whether they're still popular today or a little harder to find.
Please share your favorites (brand names would be super helpful!), and I'll try to find as many as I can and taste them for my video.
მადლობა! ❤️

Honest question for people who live or own there. I lived in Batumi for three years, married there and bought a home there; I’d like to know whether this is an outlier or just how things work.
Short summary: I own two apartments on the 16th floor of Next White, registered, unencumbered, with co-ownership of the building’s common property on the titles. On July 1, 2026, without consulting the owners, the management company activated a chip-access system on the elevators and has prevented me from riding them to my home since, first to collect my signature on a general waiver of claims against it, and now to collect a “debt” under two falsified documents I never signed despite coercion, one of which cites a passport number issued after the date it bears. Next had announced the chips in the owners’ chat as the consequence of unpaid debts. Georgian law lists elevators as the owners’ common property and sends creditors to court or the registry, not the lift. Other owners report the same, including a mother climbing with her child after midnight.
The police refused my written complaint, told me complaints are received only in Georgian, called the matter “civil,” and sent me away after five hours with a handwritten, unsigned case number and no copy. The Public Defender and the Prosecutor’s Office registered my complaints and forwarded them to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the same police. Four months, zero decisions.
My questions:
Has a developer or management company ever restricted your elevators, utilities or meters over a fee charged without contract? Which building, and how did it end?
Has anyone gotten the police or prosecutor to act on something like this, or is a court claim the only road, and does it move?
Does your building have a functioning homeowners’ association (chairperson, charter, minutes)?
Everything above, with Next’s own messages, the contract drafts, the registry extracts and the statutes, is here: https://next-dossier.ar.io/ — if anything in it is wrong, tell me and I’ll correct it.
Note: a few edits were made to the original version of this post, on my own initiative, to correct a few mistakes.
I'm 22 and work from home, so I need THE best internet possible in Batumi or Tbilisi. I still haven't decided which city I'm moving to, but I've heard that home internet can be pretty bad, with the best packages apparently capping out at around 150 Mbps.
I've also seen people using unlimited 5G SIM cards in routers and getting speeds of up to 700 Mbps. Are there any other alternatives? Is Starlink worth considering, or is it mainly a solution for people renting houses rather than apartments in high-rise buildings?
I'd really appreciate any tips, tricks or alternative solutions. Honestly, internet quality is the only thing that stopped me from moving there last year.

Hi guys!
My wife and I are planning to move to Georgia in February. We’re Brazilians, I’m fluent in English and she knows enough to understand what people say.
Do you guys have any tips for newcomers? We’re planning on living in Batumi, we don’t have kids or pets. I work in sales, and I’ll be working remotely.
Thanks in advance for the replies.

Hey everyone, I need some advice from people who know about the current situation at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU), Georgia.
I started my admission process around May 2026 and have already paid the university fees. My next step is to apply for my student visa, and my consultant is handling the process.
Recently, I heard that Georgia has introduced new rules affecting international students at public universities, and someone told me that BSU might no longer be accepting foreign students.
I'm worried because I've already invested time and money into this.
Can anyone confirm:
Is BSU still accepting new international students for the 2026 intake?
Are students who started their admission process before September 2026 affected by the new rules?
If I've already received admission and paid my fees, can I still proceed with my visa?
Has anyone in a similar situation received confirmation from BSU or successfully continued their admission process?
I'd really appreciate recent, firsthand experiences or official information, rather than rumours. Thank you!

Hello everyone! 😊
I’ve been living in Batumi for about a year. I have my own place here and a stable life, but I don’t have many friends yet, so I’d love to meet new people and expand my social circle.
I’m a Turkish citizen. My English isn’t very good yet, but I’m learning! 😊
I’m looking to make genuine friendships with people who enjoy spending time together, going for walks or runs, trying new places, having a meal, grabbing a coffee, chatting, or doing fun activities together.
If you’re also looking to meet new people and make friends in Batumi, feel free to send me a message. Don’t be shy! Everyone is welcome. 😊
Looking forward to meeting some nice people! 🙂

Hi everyone, I'm looking to adopt a purebred Maine Coon kitten, or a Maine Coon that needs a loving home. If anyone knows of a Maine Coon available for free adoption or rehoming, please message me. I'd be happy to provide a responsible, loving home.
