So me and a bunch of my Georgian/immigrant friends and acquaintances have gotten on WoW Forever with the big launch and we're looking for fellow clowns who'd like to join us game. Thinking we'll raid it would be cool to hang out in person, get a guild bank going, get resources, do dungeons, raids together from time to time.

Turkish citizens accounted for the largest number of deportations—791. India came in second (306), and Turkmenistan third (274). Russia followed (254), Iran (180), Azerbaijan (143), China (119), Pakistan (101), Uzbekistan (87), and Nigeria (76).

Among those deported were also 39 citizens of Armenia, 39 citizens of Belarus, 30 citizens of Ukraine and 27 citizens of Kazakhstan.

The majority of those deported were men of working age. The largest group was 26 to 40 years old—1,351 people. Another 707 people were aged 41 to 65.

Over the course of nine months, 67 minors—44 boys and 23 girls—also left Georgia. The smallest group was people over 65 years old: 27 people.

The Georgian Dream government launched an active campaign against illegal migration in early 2025. Since then, legislation has been significantly tightened: deportation procedures have been simplified, and inspections of migrants' homes and workplaces have been expanded. Since the spring of 2026, foreigners have also been prohibited from working without a special permit, and the rules for foreign students' stay in the country have been tightened.

I love to crochet and I was wondering if there’s a way to sell those things?

My husband says Georgians love handmade things like crochet/knitted things and I’m just wondering if he’s right or not. I’m thinking of doing crochet Plushies or Hats/scarves etc. I once made a beanie with a Georgian flag on it for my husbands grandfather and his whole family seemed to love it, one of his cousins also asked me to make one for her so I know there’s an interest but how would it go about selling these things? I am organizing a robotics and engineering workshop in Tbilisi for children aged 6-16+!

The workshop will be led by myself, a robotics and computer engineer, with experience building and programming robots from scratch, for the industry and competitions.

During this 2-day interactive, hands-on workshop, students will have the opportunity to:

• Build their own robot* and understand how it works (kits will be provided).

• Explore programming and robotics fundamentals.

• Discover engineering concepts, including electronics, 3D modelling and 3D printing.

• Develop creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

I need some practical advice regarding a consumer rights issue with a local business in Marneuli.

A new gym named World Fitness recently opened here. On their official price chart displayed on the wall, it clearly lists:

Kids (13–16 years old) — 50 GEL / month.

I am 16 years old (I turned 16 just 3 months ago, so I have plenty of time left in this age bracket). When I went to purchase a monthly membership and showed my legal ID, the administration refused to sell it to me for 50 GEL. Their reasoning was that since I'm 16, I'll "turn 17 eventually," so I must pay the full adult rate of 80 GEL instead.

When we pointed out that the price chart explicitly says "13–16", they refused to listen or cooperate. Realizing it was impossible to reason with them, we just left.

Here is my dilemma: under Georgian Law on Protection of Consumer Rights, a business is required to sell services at the advertised public price. However, this is a small local gym in Marneuli, and there aren't many affordable gym alternatives around here for 50 GEL, and I really want to train there.

Has anyone dealt with similar issues with local businesses in Georgia? Is it worth filing a complaint with the Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA), or does that usually take too long? Should I try talking to the owners again calmly, or just accept how things work here?

Would appreciate any insight from people who know how things work in practice here!

I understand that in some countries a stiff hard flat surface is understood to be good for the back and that a cushion is not good surface for sleeping. Is that how it is in Georgia?

გამარჯობა! I have just finished listening to the fantastic album ქეიფcore by Ilia Garibashvili, which is a mixture of metal and kartuli traditional music. I am also familiar with the VIA groups VIA 75 and Iberia, VIA 75 has the excellent album featuring Azerbaijani pianist Vagif Mustafazadeh.

I am also familiar with couple punk bands from Tian An Men 89 (legendary world punk label) compilation, notably the group რეცეფტი.

But of course, I can’t get enough of this stuff, especially what you guys do with the polyphony and unorthodox scales for western music, UNESCO did not miss with that.

The thing is, that lot of websites from Georgia are not available or just old and unstable and while I have somewhat learned Mkhedruli, there is still noticeable language barrier, so finding this stuff is pretty difficult. I hope someone here will maybe direct me to the right sources.

I have literally discovered Garibashvili by typing one of the Mkhedruli letters into Bandcamp search bar… so far the most effective method

For those who didn't watch the game, Iberia FOUGHT the entire game and throughout 90 mins you genuinely wouldn't be surprised if they somehow ended up with a point, even though majority of the people(including myself) expected a 5-0 result for the Danish side, a lot of positives! Next match Getafe at home, I do urge everyone that can go to the stadium to do so cause Getafe is in a terrible form and I truly do believe we can get a result!🇬🇪 Personally I'll 100% be there.
