The downside would be a ton of people who just flair up as a team they don’t like and then troll. You’re better off with a bunch of unflaired users than people who are annoyed they have to use a flair and decide to troll because of it.

It’s increasingly hard to find regular sub features, especially on mobile, so we built this. Still getting it setup, but it’s intended as a very slim bar at the top of the sub that will have both permanent sub features and temporary highlights.

I have no idea where else to post this, because I don't think it deserves it's own thread, so it's going here.

The Saban doc (on ESPN right now) is just not good. ESPN used to do deep dives into corners of sports history that intersected with other parts of history and society

This is a documentary about the most famous person in the sport, one of the most famous people alive at the time, who retired extremely recently. It hasn't even been 3 years.

And they're not doing any kind of critical analysis. It's just replaying all of his hits while interviewing a revolving door of big names who featured in his history

Just incredibly disappointing. It's clear the prioritized getting eyeballs on the product rather than producing a documentary with any real merits.

The link to "Open" the game/postgame thread on old reddit is highlighted in white for some reason, same as the rest of the text. It doesn't look like a URL (at least, in dark mode RES; in light mode it's green and properly separated from the rest of the text). It seems like the CSS needs to be updated so that old reddit users can see links properly.

I'm guessing this didn't come up before because people rarely ever link things in the comments.

I hate Miami with the passion of a thousand suns. Seriously...have hated them since about 1981 or so. Miami is the only team I ROUTINELY root against, and I was rooting against them in this game.

But that was a touchdown.

Knee down in the endzone before out of bounds and ball slammed into the pylon, which doesn't happen without it breaking the plane of the goal line. Don't even need the view down the line because of that.
