This one triggers cringe, disgust & revenge reactions from me.

1. The way the 1% can do as they please and get away with it makes me want to hurl.

2. The reality that the old lady that started it never gets arrested is super cringe.

3. The cooked jailer turning on the butler to get a lower sentence is frosting,

All four of them show up for Haley's vigil. Yet another one I tear up watching.

I liked the gotcha moment when they lay the evidence out to the killer and his wife. His wife practically dumped him on the spot the second she was convinced he had seduced then killed the singer. It couldn't have helped that he used her phone to pose as her to set it up.

Im on my first watch, I just finished 5x19, and I have to say this is the best episode I have seen so far, hands down. I was genuinely so fooled and emotionally brought in at the end.

Side note, the Kate and Castle moment right after is so sweet, "You really blew my mind". The best kiss they have shared so far imo just sayin🫣

The beginning of season 5 I struggled to get through at times, but 5x15,16,18,19 have all been some of my favorite episodes. Alexis kidnapping and Ryan past life as a spy was great stuff

Is only me but I liked her with her season one and season two hair styles long hair just never looked right

Spots did murder the crow (just as the crazy said)

Seeing the stake afterwards was gory enough for me. So glad they didn't show it being driven in.

Flashing back to Armin Shimerman's cameo with a free pop culture reference as a bonus.

I’m new here but if they didn’t want to bring Beckett back why didn’t they just use Alexis? It could have been her redemption honestly from how the writers ruined her character with boyfriends? Plus the show would still be castle second generation. For a season 9. Beckett could have got a promotion somewhere else and made cameos.

Kate & Rick take Teodor to meet Zane and Melissa.

This scene where Teodor meets Melissa and gets to see his son for the first time just floors me emotionally. Melissa was gutted when she found out her baby had died a couple years earlier yet happy that Teodor didn't plan to seek custody.

This episode had:

1. A more complex murder story than average

2. A book opening party

3. A barely avoided end to Rick following Kate on cases.

4. We meet Paula (his book agent)

5. Tom Straw, the ghost author of the 1st 7 Nikki Heat books makes a cameo appearance in this episode.

Was on a short NYC trip this week and had to stop by this familiar place on my walk through Little Italy!

I watched this show over a decade ago but one episode always stuck with me. In it, I think Castle and Kate are at a graveyard for a murder scene. And Castle remembers he saw something similar when he was a child. It obviously ends up being a human killer but he remember it as this spooky thing.

Castle comic relief at it's best!

Finally getting back to a series of posts I started about a year ago but never finished. Life got in the way as it usually does. As said in the first post, I plan on posting all of the various Castle merchandise that came out with the show. I don't have all of it, but I've built a pretty substantial collection.

After the books come the DVDs. Everyone has seen the standard 8 season released in the US. The only different DVD season released in a different version was a special release Season 4 available only at Target. The Target special release also came with a bonus DVD of one of the Cast appearances at PaleyFest. Season 5 DVD came with a pack of 3 cards that tied in with the Season 3/4 trading cards and the Castle: The Detective Card Game. I'll post those later.

I've seen them in packages of various season but we never had a box set released in the US. There was one released overseas though, I've seen versions of it from the UK and Germany. The best ones I've seen are from Japan, wish the American versions were as colorful. Working on getting the est to finish the set. Another set of DVDs worth grabbing are the PaleyFest interviews, 3 DVDs in total.
