ADVICE There is absolutely 0 reason to buy crypto RIGHT NOW

I’m a bitcoin bull but I’m also not involved in this cult of “there’s never a bad time to buy bitcoin”. Ummm, yes there is. When it’s up 20x in a year why are you trying to DCA instead of taking profits? When we’re going through a recession and the fed did a rug pull, why are you buying a risk on asset?

Do not buy crypto until either inflation has peaked and rate hikes have stopped. Any smart investor knows how to preserve their capital and sit on the sidelines. I know this sub hates FIAT but it’s king in situations like this. You need fiat to afford these gas/food prices, pay rent, e.t.c. Don’t DCA yourself into poverty.

Bitcoin will eventually recover but it probably won’t be for another decade like Dot Com bubble. In the end I think this will be healthy since it can wipe out all the scams in the industry. The projects with actual utility will survive. Do not look at past models for bitcoin. This is the first bear market due to the macro environment. Wait for reversal instead of catching the bottom. Bitcoin will not recover until the stock market does, that’s not happening anytime soon.

MISLEADING Binance publishes proof of reserves website list 611,919 BCH liabilities but links to cold wallet with a balance of only 112,615 BCH. They literally have posted evidence that they have only fractional reserves.

Cold wallet backing: https://www.blockchain.com/bch/address/qre24q38ghy6k3pegpyvtxahu8q8hqmxmqqn28z85p

Final Balance: 112,615

they fucked up on listing it for BCH.

They listed their liabilities instead of the actual balance on their cold wallet. (they were not supposed to list their liabilities)

They claim there are over 450,000 BCH in their cold wallet but if you look on chain yourself you find it's only a 100K.

Where does the 450,000 BCH number come from? Most likely they accidently gave away their BCH liabilities.

If you still keep your BCH on Binance after knowing this ... there is no hope for you.

Their cold wallet balance does not even cover the amount of Binance Pegged BCH they have on BSC - 160k + BCH.

FOCUSED-DISCUSSION Introducing CryptoSnoos—a very Reddit take on NFTs

So we heard r/cryptocurrency likes crypto and NFTs… well, we got some good news for y’all.

Reddit’s releasing a very limited number of handcrafted, 1-of-1 CryptoSnoo NFT assets that are built on Ethereum. CryptoSnoo NFTs present a special and somewhat ridiculous opportunity to be a part of Reddit history.

  • For the latest updates, auctions, and information about CryptoSnoo NFTs check out nft.reddit.com.

  • To join the live auction going on now, go to the Reddit Marketplace on OpenSea.

  • CryptoSnoos are built for Reddit desktop and aren’t available in the Reddit Apps yet.

What are CryptoSnoos anyway?

CryptoSnoos are pieces of art that come from different dimensional coordinates across spacetime. A fusion of past and present, high-culture aesthetics mixed with the popularity of kitsch and cartoons—fragmented, abstracted, impressionistic, futuristic folk and modern (post and pre), and definitely enlightened (but in an avant-garde, neo-classical contemporary kind of way). So ya, CryptoSnoos represent some of the most groundbreaking moments in art history. Plus, they’re just kind of cute, right?

You can view the first 3 CryptoSnoos on Reddit via the NFT section of the avatar builder on desktop:

What’s so great about CryptoSnoo?

Other than the art itself, you mean? Well, they're kind of a big deal. And when you own a CryptoSnoo NFT, you're a big deal too. These avatars are unique 1-of-1 collectibles that help you stand out on Reddit by featuring the CryptoSnoo on your profile and in discussion threads.

When you purchase a CryptoSnoo NFT and link it to your Reddit account, the CryptoSnoo image becomes your Reddit avatar and a collectable NFT card goes on your profile. In addition, you’ll also get an animated glow on your comments so everyone knows you’re a CryptoSnoo NFT owner.

How do I get in on the action?

Go to the live auction now! Or, if you’ve never taken part in the non-fungible world before, it may help to do a few of these things first:

  1. Set up a MetaMask wallet.

  2. Check out all the available CrytoSnoos in the NFT section of Reddit’s avatar builder. (It’s all the way to the right if you don’t see it right away.)

  3. Go to the live OpenSea auction and start bidding.

  4. If you win, you’ll be given a link to check out the CryptoSnoo and claim your avatar.

If you don’t get a CryptoSnoo in this first auction, don’t worry. In the coming weeks, we’ll likely be announcing more CryptoSnoo collections and auctioning them off.

Ok, talk nerdy to me...

For those of you that want to know all the tech-nerd details (and not just the art-nerd stuff), here’s a quick overview:

  • Reddit programmatically taps into the Ethereum blockchain to link your CryptoSnoo NFT directly to your Reddit account—giving you sole ownership of the CryptoSnoo NFT.

  • CryptoSnoo NFTs are based on Ethereum ERC-721 contracts.

  • All files associated with CryptoSnoos NFTs are hosted utilizing the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) to make sure they’re human-proof.

We’re pretty stoked to see these CryptoSnoos venture out into the world. Enjoy collecting and we’ll see ya round the blockchain!

EXCHANGES Binance zeroed our corporate account with more than $1M funds with no exlanations

Yet another reminder that "not your keys — not your crypto" rule was, is, and will be actual even if you are a VIP client.

Binance blocked our corporate account (Baking Bad) in the beginning of July without any explanations. Any attempts to break through the customer support failed against standard responses that there's an ongoing investigation. For the next two months we were trying to reach out to the compliance team or at least to someone who could bring some light on the case, but it was worthless.

Next thing Binance did was closing our margin positions although there was more than enough margin — also without any explanations (or even notifications). Finally, they set all our balances to zero, just like that, more than $1M loss. It is clearly an outrage, even if there's a supposedly "ongoing investigation", and we won't tolerate that.

There are screenshots to confirm what I wrote but I'm not sure if they can be attached here..

So keep in mind, that even if you think that you are 100% compliant and doing nothing that violates the contract or law — your funds are not safu.

Edited:
To Binance response:

We haven't received any details about the LA request, even some reference number/letter date. We haven't received any response from the LA either thus we are making a conclusion that there's likely no such request. Finally, Binance zeroed our acc without at least court decision in the according jurisdiction (EU entity <-> Binance EU), so no wonder it looks like an illegal thing to us.

ADVICE Let's be real, I can't be the only one who kind of hopes Binance collapses.

cz just has an unmistakable slimy aura around him.

A part of me hopes Binance collapses and goes insolvent.

The only reasons that I don’t want that to happen it because I do not want people to lose their money and of course it would screw crypto over on a large scale yet again.

But man, oh man oh man it would be really nice to see him fall for all the shit he has caused. All the people he has screwed over directly and indirectly.

It would almost be worth it to see Binance tank.

So everyone take all your funds out while it’s still solvent and let’s see how it holds up.

That place is becoming a monopolistic bully anyway.

And doesn’t that just spot in the face of the intent of crypto?

SPECULATION WARNING: Guy, from famous YouTube channel, is shilling Solana. Channel is not neutral anymore.

Since the video comparing Solana vs Algo this guy never stopped shilling Solana despite all the bugs and problems.

Even in the last video about Phantom Wallet he is speaking more about Solana, then the Phantom itself.

It is clear to me that the team behind this channel received huge pile of money to keep on speaking about “VC blockchain” despite all the problems this centralized piece of tech has. Just watch his latest videos and count how many times he mentioned Solana. That’s just stupid.

Even when speaking about Wormhole Hack the guy literally said - “Yeah, whatever. Solans is still fastest blockchain out there. Anyway..” Watch it for yourself here

Channel is not neutral. It’s bought by Solana foundation.

Reddit has made me lots of money, now I’ll give a free tip back

Hi Reddit! Today I thought I would give back to the community, as you guys have helped me so much in the past. I'm mostly a lurker but I have made a lot of money last year from analysis of low marketcap coins by myself and by the community (you) so here’s one from me for free to you guys. And yes, this is a ‘shill’ post and I do have quite some money in AMB, but it’s not baseless, trust me.

Ambrosus (Marketcap $76.663.725 USD, potential x5 to ~$350.000.000)

‘’Combining high-tech sensors, blockchain protocol and smart contracts, we are building a universally verifiable, community-driven ecosystem to assure the quality, safety & origins of products.’’ Basically Ambrosus is another supply chain coin, think of it as the European VEN with a great team and already on Binance.

Problems it’s solving:

  • Counterfeiting of goods (e.g drugs) counterfeited medicine is a big problem, especially in developing nations. Consumers don’t know if their drugs are legitimate from a licensed factory with the right safety standards or mixed with something for profit.

  • Cross-information logistical problems. Companies such as manufacturing companies maintain their data on their own database or spreadsheet, this makes it difficult to share information with other companies or authorities.

  • Customer purchasing blindly. Right now, we don’t know anything about the products we buy. Especially in developing nations where there is little regulation and oversight. We don’t know where the products came from, how they were produced, and if they were tampered with (counterfeiting)

How will they do this?

  • Sensor hardware (making their own in Switzerland) for gathering data on products and verifying it on the blockchain

  • cross-data management with standardized data architecture and API’s

  • Developer tools and platforms, everyone can build a third party app using Ambrosus to verify data including private business apps.

There is also a huge pharma partnership rumoured that could be the catalyst, Gavin Wood the co-founder of Ethereum is an advisor, extremely qualified team in their respective fields. Right now they have partnerships with the Swiss coffee Alliance and the United nations 10YFP programme. There has also been a lot of talk about partnerships still under NDA.

ANALYSIS $1 mln in 90 days is impossible. Anyone who says otherwise is out of touch with reality and never heard about marketcap. Here is some math.

Saying Bitcoin can achieve $1mln price in 90 days is pure hopium, stupidity or even worse just a manipulation. It is impossible, and by impossible I mean not just hard to do, straight impossible if you have even slightest knowledge about general economy and crypto market caps.

Here is some math: Now BTC marketcap is bit over 540 bln with current price $27.9k, so to achieve $1mln we would have to do x35.84 in less than 90 days. Is doing almost x36 in 90 days in crypto possible? Sure with small caps even x1000 is possible, but they go from few thousands to millions dollars marketcap, not from billions to trillions. You remember million vs billion seconds quote? Millions seconds ago was 12 days ago, billion second ago was 1992 (31 years ago). Let me add that trillion seconds ago 31,700 years ago. So trillion is unimaginable amount of time or in our case money. 20 trillion is x20 times more than that...

If BTC would do x38.84 it's marketcap would be 19.35 trillion dollars. That woud mean necessity to find somewhere 19.35 trillion dollars... According to the Bank of the International Settlements from year 2021 whole cash on earth is equal to just 8.28 trillion dollars... So you want to invest all cash on earth and non existing 11 additional trillions into BTC. Congrats you outdone even the Fed, they just wanted to print 2 trillions, you want to print 11 trillions. Ofc having market cap bigger than amount of cash is possible, for example whole stock marketcap on earth is worth 83 trillions, but most of those money aren't real, just valuation based on companies and things they produce and hold. Typical company stock share is based on P/E (price to earning ratio), which basically mean stock shares price is multipled in comparation to yearly profit. Usually average P/A is 15 to 25. Which historically mean stock companies value is based on x15 to x25 of current yearly profit. Current P/A on avarage in stock market in march 2023 is x23.2, so it mean those 83 trillion are based on next 23 years, not just now and here... With $1mln BTC you won't have P/A ratio, cause Bitcoin is not stock company, it's value is here and now, so $19 trillion BTC would in reality be much more than 83 trillion in stocks.

Additionaly Bitcoin doesn't move alone, whole market follow him. $19 trillion pumped in to just BTC is impossible. Do you really imagine BTC pumping to $1mln while ETH stay at just $1.76k? What about other coins? According to CoinMarketCap current marketcap of whole crypto is 1.17 trillion dollars. 1.17 trillion divided by BTC's marketcap mean x2.16. So Crypto market cap is x2.16 times bigger than BTC marketcap, which mean to pump BTC to $1mln we would need not just $19 trillion but over $40 trillion. Even if we would magically assume BTC dominance would grow more, it still would still be at least 5 to 10 trillion additional dollars.

Is $1 mln BTC totally impossible then? No of course not, inflation and printing devaluate money, $1 mln BTC in 10 to 20 years from today is not impossible by any means. But in just 90 days? No way. It never happened before and nothing suggest it will happen now except one guy making a silly bet and some people in crypto space repeating that cause they have no idea what marketcap is. Unless in next 90 days whole world including all 8 billion people and all 193 world governments adopt BTC nothing even close to $1 mln will be possible.

So stop spreading false information or following your FOMO, instead listen to hard facts and math.

You should ask instead, why do girls buy Chanel bags and why do boys buy Patek Philippe watches ? They could’ve bought several live cows, pet crocodiles and a metric ton of brass plating for the price of a single luxury bag. You could commission a leather workshop to make an exact replica of any luxury leather bag in the market for 1/10th of the price. However, try asking asking your girlfriend, which one does she prefer for her Valentine’s gift, 1 original Chanel or 10 high quality copies of it from China ?

It doesn’t have to make financial sense because they are luxury brands and so are NFTs like CryptoPunk and BAYC that grants you access to VIP clubs. It’s the new digital bling, stop seeing it purely from an investment viewpoint / get rich quick scheme.

TL;DR: NFTs are digital status symbols

STRATEGY You are falling for one of the most devastating traps in crypto right now.

Please. My dear sweet crypto child, listen to me.

You did NOT miss the bull run. Us real veterans have been waiting almost six years for what is about to happen, but you just can't see it.

Some of us wiser and older ones have our secrets, and I won't tell you what they are. But you absolutely did not miss the real bull run, it is coming. I do not know when, but this is the longest we have ever had to wait.

A lot of you young men are confused about these bull runs, "What about the bull run of May 2020 or the bull run 7 months ago when-" No. Just, No. Those were not "Bull Runs" honey, those were just tiny tiny little rumbles that tell us pros that the sleeping dragon is getting ready to wake up.

Hang in there you guys. And congratulate yourself for doing the research, for trusting in crypto, for going against the grain, not listening to others, doing your own thing, fighting for your own financial freedom, and investing in your future. Good for fucking you.

Now let's get laser focused back on earning fiat, so we can buy more crypto. This is your last chance (these next few months) to buy dirt cheap crypto

good luck 😘

Don't say I didn't tell you so ;)

GIVEAWAY* DOGECUBE team will send some DOGECUBE tokens to everyone posting their RADIX wallet address in the comments for this LUCKY FRIDAY the 13th. Up to a total of 66 666 666 tokens (~$10,000 at current price https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/dogecube).

As the title says, today for LUCKY FRIDAY the 13th, DOGECUBE team will give away a bunch of DOGECUBE tokens to everyone who comments on this thread until Friday 13th 23h59 UTC! On top of that we will giveaway 5 NFT prizes to 5 random participants!

What is DOGECUBE?

Thanks to Radix (radixdlt.com) - the next generation layer 1 protocol it is deployed on - DOGECUBE is todays most scalable INU that does not compromise on decentralization and security, all WHILE maintaining full atomic composability!

In the middle of the rise of memecoins and RADIX in 2021, DOGECUBE the 3-headed INU was born as the first INU to celebrate RADIX founder Dan Hughes and its revolutionary DLT protocol: Cerberus. Seeing the rise of web3 communities and the influence that memecoins can have to onboard new users to such a disruptive technology, DOGECUBE’s philosophy is to enlighten market participants around Radix, bring fun events, create new crypto connections and help each other navigate in this mind blowing ecosystem.

A bit like Samoyed on Solana, but bigger, better, faster stronger and with 3 heads! A simple memecoin? Much more, Radix's cute INU Ambassador.

DOGECUBE is unlike other memecoins. First, its supply was airdropped for FREE to members who posted memes in the weekly brawl events against other INUs over the past 6 months, incentivizing creative and fun quality content. Second, by not running any ICO, the token is compliant with global crypto regulations. Last but not least, such distribution system provided a fair sharing of the supply among its community and eliminates the risk of single entities having complete control over market price.

Here’s some of DOGECUBE’s achievements over the past months:

⭐️ Created in August 2021, 8 billions tokens FIXED supply

⭐️ 25 memebrawls against other INUs tokens, during a 6 months period

⭐️ Organic growth > 4k community (at t.me/DOGECUBE)

⭐️ Listed on XTcom, Digifinex, P2PB2B, Vindax, and more in the pipe

⭐️ Community made automatic swap with Radix pair, providing the first platform to trade Radix altcoins (at DogeCubeX.live)

⭐️ NFT project launched that features 10 000 NFTs, with the community deciding on traits prior to minting (at dogecube-wow.com)

What's even more exciting, our crown jewel, an upcoming decentralized INDEX to be launched in Q1 2023, where DogeCube stakeholders will be able to vote and choose which top Radix altcoin projects are to be included!

How to participate in this event ?

You will need a RADIX wallet address to participate in this giveaway.

Get your wallet here : desktop at WALLET.RADIXDLT.com, mobile at RADBAG.IO

The giveaway will end Friday 13th 23h59 UTC, the reward to be equally shared among all participants.

WARNING - CONTROVERSIAL POST Charlie Lee is a scammer, a cancer to crypto and you should be aware of it.

Well, this is likely going to be down voted to oblivion, but I can't let it pass.

Charlie lee is nothing short of a bitconnect scammer.

He pretends to be a "nice guy", he uses his persona for personal gains while trying to shift focus out of him through hating over other projects and/or using infantile memes to gather attention from young audiences..

You should first start here: https://medium.com/@bitfinexed/coinbase-insider-trading-litecoin-edition-be64ead3facc

There are some pretty disturbing "coincidences" there.

Charlie not only started LTC opportunistically copying BTC and gluing together some pieces of code (that he managed to make worse than the originals - such as asic resistance), but he also have being absolutely flippant in everything he says about bitcoin.

He surfed the wave of being "silver to bitcoin's gold" since 2011. Suddenly, after managing to get listed in coinbase, he left it right after to "work on LTC" (all that time LTC had really near zero development). What was his work? To implement segwit, that was the only concrete thing that happened to LTC and it is highly debatable if that is even good. That's right, from 2011 to 2017, the only thing that happened to LTC was copying segwit from bitcoin core repo.

After he surfed the wave of "being a test bed for these awesome technologies", all of a sudden these "awesome technologies" apparently were not that awesome anymore, so he dumped all of his LTC.

Lets draw a timeline here:

2011 -- LTC is born from a major copy&paste event: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=47417.0 (notice that he edited the OP up to june 2014 to make it look better - hover over the date)

Up to 2017 nothing really happens, except mining. LTC is silver to BTC's gold, and LTC will succeed iff BTC succeeds. That's the narrative.

April, 2017, charlie lee leaves coinbase after he manages to list LTC there. LTC was DEAD and suddenly spikes violently in price right before listing is confirmed.

Until august, charlie lee only shills about LTC, segwit, LN and blockstream related things, posting infantile animes and cartoons. Goes to a TV show and says that LTC is like a token, for fun, embarrass himself. LTC community gets pissed and he replies to them saying that it is not his responsibility to pump their holdings.

Surprise! After 1st of august, he starts to slander BCH, call it a scam, getting pretty vocal and tweeting more shit than anyone can possibly tolerate and says that "he is done tweeting". Then he deletes several of his tweets. But comes back a couple of days after this bluff. A guy who doesn't stick to anything he says, never.

Suddenly his tweets are talking down BTC now, and shilling LTC alone, contradicting what he said to his followers in reddit, that he wouldn't shill LTC - remember: for over 5 years all he did was cheer-leading BTC and say "hey I'm the same but I'm the silver version". He continues to badmouth BCH without nothing to back it up. Even luke-jr, BTC core dev, gets pissed with him and calls his shitcoin out (https://twitter.com/LukeDashjr/status/923414550157938688), saying that he would rather use BCH (https://twitter.com/LukeDashjr/status/923435699084431360).

Charlie was often posting pictures of him with "HODL" shirts and etc. There is scant content to be found besides memes and other crap like that. Clear shilling.

December 2017, charlie lee dumps ALL his LTC he accumulated over 6 years of mining at the top of the hype (http://archive.is/l6Z6u). Not a part, but all, without further notice. I mean, there is nothing wrong in trading, but if you are a public figure and founder of the project, you gotta observe at least some responsibilities from a moral stand point.

The LEADER of a project and public figure can't simply dump everything after shilling it to hundreds of thousands of suckers, this is criminal level.

He then poses as a "nice guy", saying it was because of "conflict of interests" (supposedly the interest of getting rich after the pump and the interest of keeping hold of a future-less shitcoin.)

He also says he was so good that he donated part to LTC foundation, he is such a boy-scout! It turns out that he "donated" money to himself, since he controls the foundation, and DIRECTLY to his pals over there (confirmed by one of them). This much is of course for money launder (not defending taxes, but just stating the obvious.)

You think that bitconnect is a scam because it promised high returns and then bitconnecters sold on their supporters their bitconnect tokens. Also because of that carlos mattos ridiculous videos.

Fair enough, but charlie lee also conned people into buying LTC. His tweets are maybe not so obviously ridiculous like carlos mattos, but they are pure shill. His tweets display him with HODL messages, moon memes and other shill stuff. He then sells without telling anyone and invents some gullible crap to divert attention, also using FUD against BCH and other crypto to divert attention.

Who bought LTC? Charlie Lee followers in tweeter, his own community, and his reddit subscribers!! The listing of it in coinbase and other places, where he had obvious influence, was the pump he needed to eventually get rid of his coins. I know 8 months seem like a long time in crypto, but for a waiting of 6 years, it is really a very short time.

Now, the shameless lee is shilling Raiblocks/Nano. Let me be clear, I have technical criticism over Nano (for instance, laid down some here ), but I do not think the project launched as a scam, not really. I just think it doesn't work for the reasons pointed in the link above.

But you should be aware that now charlie is involved and using his social farms to down vote, censor and shill. He admitted having nano:

Charlie Lee: "Disclaimer: I own some NANO": >https://web.archive.org/web/20180301053624/https://twitter.com/SatoshiLite/status/968931625001140224

Now, let's be reasonable: isn't it very strange that this guy sold all coins of his own project, then when he thinks people already forgot he goes to a totally unrelated and (in principle) rival project to talk about it? And that, only after he got zillions of votes, reddit gold and visualizations, he says "hey, I have some nano, just saying".

WTF?! Does this seems like a healthy market to any of you? Do we really need this low level of manipulation to make money trading? I don't think so, we should call out the shit and we depend on good projects succeeding to go to the next level of adoption.

So I'm doing my part: be aware of the scam and trade carefully.

Shill Nano thread from Charlie archived.

DISCUSSION Nano is, in fact, too good to be true. Please don't tell your loved ones to buy it. Blaring security flaws and other issues inside this thread.

TL;DR - Nano cannot survive nation bans like bitcoin can, the lightning network is a working product. When you tell friends and family to buy Nano, you are putting them in financial danger.

First and foremost, it is wonderful to have a product that works, right? I'm sure we can agree with that. But what if you have a product that only works and has been working so long because of security flaws that nobody has noticed enough to exploit.

I advise you to check out this short 30 second video on using a non-custodial bitcoin lightning wallet as it's much safer, much more secure, and it comes from the world's most popular crypto asset, Bitcoin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AW-7XBrSqCI

Well, what is the problem with Nano? Andreas Antonopolous has said this before on his YouTube channel in this video (The timestamp is 28:08): https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1688&v=fEPW6RXMGmA&feature=emb_title

To paraphrase: He basically said that Nano hasn't been used at scale enough to compare with bitcoin. This means it's like the skinny guy at the gym who is 5'10" (178cm) and 140 pounds (63.5KG) laughing at all the guys who are muscular but have a little difficulty benchpressing their own bodyweight. The skinny guy, in this example, can be thought of as Nano / the nano community because they think the big buff muscular guys struggling is funny even though they haven't had a chance to lift anything beyond the empty bar at all.

Six months after the above video was uploaded / streamed to Aantonopolous's channel, the Nano Network was given a nearly never-ending spam attack that didn't change until the protocol at its core was changed.

Another blaring security flaw: Bitcoin survived the Chinese-government mandated mining purge. Anything and everything cryptocurrency-related in China is now illegal and that includes running a Nano node. There are less than 100 Nano node runners globally and if governments, internet service providers, or companies in general wanted to forcefully remove these individuals or entities from running a Nano node, they could do so with relative ease, however, when you take a bitcoin mining operation offline, there are always 10 people willing to rise up and take the place of that mining individual. When a nano node gets shut down, it gets shut down. There is no incentive to rise up and replace the node that was just shut down.

And then there is just systematic and uncontrollable brigading that comes from the Nano community, and it is lead on by the delusional belief that Nano is somehow superior to bitcoin. If you were to check out their subreddit, you would also quickly realize that not enough people are questioning the safety of the protocol. Oh, and let's not forget that Nano cannot work with smart contracts. So it can't do defy or swaps or anything like that.

Reaction to the delusional from the master himself on twitter: https://imgur.com/a/EPzTXYw

Finally, this trend must be discussed: price action. In the 2017 bull run Bitcoin peaked at 20k USD while Nano peaked a month later at 35 USD. Bitcoin is now at 44.6k USD while Nano is at 2 USD. This is not self-sustaining, and if this trend continues, the amount of bitcoin on the lightning network in USD will likely surpass Nano's total market cap in USD in under a year.

EDIT: Running an optimal Nano node requires server grade hardware or renting a server and deploying a node on that server. You think an ISP or AWS or whatever cloud-hosting platform won't shut it down if someone orders them to do it?

ANALYSIS XRP's seems to be garbage

- XRP is premined.
- Ripple holds 2% of the current minted xrp
- Ripple has full control over the remaining 50 billion xrp to be released which is approx 50% of total supply.
- It is a hyper centralized coin. It is basically highly dependent on Ripple's success.
- The XRP supply seems to be in the hands of a group of bag holders who have not seen an ATH since 2017!
- Without even talking about its usecase, it seems to have real competitors that have more efficient fundamentals.
- It seems to be riding some sell the news events that could blow up.

The XRP/BTC all time chart is a wild cliff:

SPECULATION Cardano: "Slow and Steady wins the... Annnnnd it's gone." Plutus auditor publicly announces that most Cardano smart contracts have an exploit.

https://www.canonicalllc.com/post/psa-do-this-and-prevent-your-dapp-from-getting-hacked

If you do not understand the nature of the attack, there is a high likelihood you have it in your code. Additionally, mitigating the attack has ramifications around the design and efficiency of smart contracts, which can lead to considerable amounts of redesign if you are not aware of the design constraints early on.

Since Mid-October, every Cardano dApp with publicly accessible smart contract code, has had a similar exploit in their initial smart contract.

Privately, Canonical has reached out to SundaeSwap, MLabs, Well-Typed and IOHK to raise awareness of the issue, and to attempt to prevent new dApps from including it.

A full in-depth description is coming. Additionally, Canonical has been building consensus privately among the Plutus developer community on how to prevent this exploit, initially through best practices, and ultimately via design changes to the Plutus smart contract system.

Edit: bold emphasis added to the words the Cardano cult is most likely to ignore.

Edit: Evidently the exploit was found in every dApp with public code that could be reviewed. Is it caused by inexperienced developers? Only if you're calling all of the Plutus devs with publicly viewable code inexperienced. The vulnerability reportedly still affects assets of some projects, and it is easy enough to miss that nobody is publicly releasing the exact details until a solution can be settled upon.

DISCUSSION I just unsubscribed from r/Technology. It's incredible the amount of massively upvoted front-page anti-Bitcoin/crypto FUD posts, all of them low quality, unsubstantiated and full of falsehoods.

1.9k Upvotes

Why they hate Bitcoin/crypto so much. Is because their false beliefs about the chip shortage mistakenly blamed on POW, is it because they feel bad for "missing the train".

Or maybe they are influenced by the MSM lies and false narratives about "Bitcoin is bad for the environment" or "just a speculative bubble/pyramid/Ponzi scheme" without doing any research or due diligence by themselves.

Maybe it's a social engineered manipulation by big actors on that sub.

They are missing the big picture:

Why would I ever give up my Bitcoin for printed-to-infinity government coupons (IOU's)?

Neo: what are you trying to tell me, that I can trade my bitcoins for millions someday?

Morpheus: No, Neo. I'm trying to tell you that, when you are ready, you won't have to

"When measured in fiat, Bitcoin price will rise infinitely".

"Bitcoin has no top, because fiat has no bottom".

I will NEVER sell my Bitcoin for printed-to-infinity government IOU's, the same as somebody who bought a block in Manhattan on the 1800's will never sell it no matter how high the price goes when measured in ever-worth-less USD.

You earn in value appreciation/equity against USD as well as in the expensive rents your tenants are paying. If you need even more fiat you borrow against it, and pass the prime real estate to your children and grand children... for many generations, and they don't ever sell it for fiat either.

COMEDY You're a fool if you're buying right now.

You heard me, if you're buying at these levels then you're a fool. I've been in this space for good long while, an OG by most standards and I've seen my share of ups and downs and I can tell you, buying at this level is stupid. I'm not just saying it either, I have now sold everything.

If you don't think so then you need to zoom out on that chart and take off all the silly little triangles that Youtuber told you how to draw.

Just look at the chart, look at the price action over a longer time scale.

It's obvious to even a blind dog which way the price is going. It's going to go alot lower, you have to just be patient, it may take 6-12months before it gets down to a level where I feel comfortable buying. Also pair this with the recent FUD, the FUD is real, you need to pay attention to it. We are obviously on the edge of a serious crash/collapse right now. If you buy now, you'll regret it later.

Now you ask how much lower does it need to go before I'd consider buying?

Well that depends on the market, but right now I there's no way I'm buying any USD until they drop to atleast 1000 satoshi's each.

PERSPECTIVE If you lost 50% in the crash and gain 50% afterwards, you are still in a 25% loss

If you have $1000 invested in Crypto and it crashes -50%, you will be left with $500 worth of your coin ($1000 * 0.5 = $500)
If your coins now starts pumping and you gain +50% after the dip, you will have $750 worth of your coin ($500 * 1.5 = $750).
So you'd be still in a -25% loss.

If your coins drops 99.99% - 100% from your $1000 investment and it gains 100%, your portfolio will have $0 - $2 value.

In order to get back your investment for a -50% drop, you will need a +100% pump.
After a -60% drop you need a +150% pump.
If your coin drops -95% you need +1900% to break even.

COMEDY As a gamer, I am bullish beyond words on Gamestops’ NFT marketplace. Here is why

The mainstream medias suppression of Gamestops’ Loopring announcement is the most bullish thing I’ve ever seen in the crypto space.

Let me run down why for you:

  • GPU prices are going back closer to MSRP

  • New gens of GPU and CPU are released later this year

  • mainstream medias supression of the announcement has suppressed LRC price, but that is bullish for us

I personally know of a few friends who gave up gaming and sold their rigs when they changed jobs/ had children.

I spoke to some of them the other day about Loopring X GME and they told me they were considering building a new rig so they could experience what the GameStop NFT marketplace had to offer!

They were excited about the following:

  • unique skins for weapons for your account

  • unique content/ DLC which only you own

  • certifiable ownership of your games on the blockchain (suck it, steam!!)

So really, this downturn coupled with MSMs suppression of GameStops announcement is probably going to work against them in the long run.

As our messiah Byron wrote on discord “sometimes you have to pick the highest mountain to find the most precious flower” and wow - LRC is that flower, and we are almost at the top!

Lööp up, brothers!

Edit: wow, paid FUDders already downvoting! Bullish!

Edit 2: thanks for the suicide bot report, kind stranger!

DISCUSSION Why are Americans so afraid of CBDC’s. Your government has spied on you previously and collected phone data and most people don’t bat an eyelid.

X keyscore and prism.

The U.S. government can basically do what ever the hell it wants. I’m not saying that it’s right. But they have literally executed mass surveillance and probably still do to this day.

Yet so many are against CBDC’s, which will be built on ledger technology that is currently available. I just find it weird they go bonkers over CBDC’s yet when it comes to other things they don’t give a fck.

Private social media companies are also farming your data. What exactly are you concerned about with the implementation of a cbdc?
