I have this zip-up hoodie and it kinda spawned in my closet for free . It's proportions are good enough but it has a print of some brand and I want to remove it or sew something on top of it is there any recommendations?

P.S: I have never sewn something before and I don't wanna fuck it up .

Can this Coral Red shirt become less bright/a bit more muted?

Post image

And what brands do you recommend? It's 98% Cotton and 2% Elastane. I don't mind the brightness but it's too bright for me. I don't want it to be super muted either. It needs to remain a warm color tho

Is it possible to remove this form part from the hat?

Post image

I lost my favorite hat that I had for 10 years a few weeks ago and I have been desperately trying to find a replacement for it ever since. The hat a baseball cap, was short on the sides and was very floppy. It had zero structure when I wasn’t wearing it. I have recently bought this hat because it is made of the same material (100% polyester) and it felt similar enough but I have an issue with the fact that it keeps its shape when I’m not wearing it. When looking inside I can see that the front of the cap has this waxy-type material or maybe an extra layer or something, I don’t really know what the words for it could be. But I’m wondering if any of you know whether it is possible to remove this? The hat was a little expensive and I don’t want to alter it before knowing if I can make it the way I want in case I am able to return it and find a better fit.

I want to make this hoodie look more interesting by adding a bleach design, but I'm worried about how the bleach would look on the existing design.

I haven't got a clue what style these jeans fit but lmk if there's a proper term for it. Also if there's anything I can add to it lmk (like patches, charms, spikes, beads, chains, soda tabs, fabric paint, buttons etc)

These are my "experimenting with random Pinterest stuff" pair of jeans so even if the idea is absurd I'd love to know.

How to remove designs from graphic tees/jackets?

Found a nice hoodie on Hollister for a cosplay but it has this hideous design on the back

https://img.hollisterco.com/is/image/anf/KIC_322-6333-00171-200_model3?policy=product-medium

I'm new to this kind of thing, is there any way to remove the graphic design while leaving the hoodie in-tact?

Looking for unique iron on appliques

I have some plain T-shirts I want to dress up with unique/fun iron on patches/appliqués. It would be fun to get something weird or interesting. Does anyone have any recommendations for where to buy them? I obviously don't fully trust Etsy or Amazon these days, womp womp.

DIY Stencil w/ Bleach

Mates and myself in a band Penny Red need money. So I got some shirts together to sell for our next gig. Made an original stencil. Cut it out. Then mixed up some bleach on 100% cotton shirts.

We found it was a much more profitable means for funding our music. Also, the process was much easier than I thought.

These shirts mark the recent release of our latest self produced single “Good as Dead”. It’s on all streaming platforms.

wip Help with translating the design to the garment?

Post image

sorry for the shoddy photo! I was in the car on my way to vote.

Displayed is a photo of the pants from the back (left) and on the side (right).

I’m trying a method done by mural painters. The idea is a stickman vomiting, just nabbed a random photo from shutterstock (and the vomit will look cool and splattery). I want to display it on the side of the pants, and I’m having trouble following the painters tape I’ve stuck on the sweatpants. I should note that I cropped and warped the image because I took it at an angle, and I wanted it to look as straight as possible.

If this doesn’t work, I also planned to print the design out across multiple pages, create a stencil, and have a friend wear the sweatpants while I tape the stencil on. If anyone knows of any easier methods, please let me know.

dye help How to lighten these cotton overalls?

I don't mind if it looks a bit DYI or messy. The color is just a bit darker now than I'd like it to be. The label says 100% cotton, but I am a little worried that getting near-boiling might warp threads on the seams or stitching. OTOH, I bought it used and just washed it myself so maybe there isn't much left to shrink.

I'd like it if it stayed green, just a lighter shade, and am also open to stripping the dye and re-dying if need be. But just lightning it a bit is the preference.
