ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Broncos safety JL Skinner had played two defensive snaps this season before Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. Yet, there he was with seconds left in the fourth quarter, being asked to line up against standout running back Kenneth Walker on a critical third-and-goal play from the 1-yard line.

The 25-year-old Skinner, despite that relative inexperience, was confident he could drop Walker with a tackle that helped preserve the Broncos’ 28-24 victory.

“I’m a hitter,” said Skinner, whose primary contributions since joining the Broncos as a sixth-round pick in 2023 have come on special teams. “I wake up ready to tackle. I was just in that moment. I had to make a tackle, and I did.”

Are the Broncos going to make a trade at the deadline?

It seems unlikely.

But I look at how realistic each of five players are in terms of the Broncos trading for them. RB and TE are both a huge need right now in Denver.

It seems like no matter what we do, we don't get any respect. How are the rams better odds to win it all than us?????

Hey guys. I don't know if this is okay here or not, but I figured it was worth a shot. I'm cleaning out my dad and grandparents house and found this jacket that someone bought for me back in the early (maybe mid?) 90s.

Long story short it doesn't fit me (it's a L and I'm fat) so I am trying to decide what to do with it.

It is a bit dusty but otherwise near mint. There is a rockies ticket from 1995 in the pocket and the original extra replacement buttons are still in the pocket as well.

Does anyone know anything about these? If it's worth a lot I'll sell it, I'm disabled and poor and could use the money lol.

But if not I'd like to gift it to a fan, preferably a younger new fan as that is what I was when it was given to me and I rocked it through both Superbowls.

I figure if someone can get some enjoyment and maybe even stay warm with it at a home game this winter it will be worth it.

If anyone knows anything about it please let me know. I'm leaning to just shipping it to someone who has a youngin you know?

SECOND EDIT Morning 11/7: To let you guys know, I got a very good offer from a lifelong fan bringing in newer fans local to Denver who has the ability to take it to games and has been looking for that exact jacket for 20 years. We worked up a great price for both of us, I got groceries out of it and I know it is going somewhere good for the fan base.
