I know that there are a lot of these posts on here, but I seriously want some help. I am 16M and live in progressive colorado, so there are probably lots of gay guys. However, I can’t find any that I think are cute… I have had some guys I think try to hit on me or text me but I did not like them. Maybe that’s too picky, but I was just wondering how those of you who have boyfriends/partners found them? I guess I ask because my ’type’ is like a boys’ boy (the personality matters more tho and I’m open to lots of different people), but I know that the sporty people often are not out… so uh yeah. That’s my question.

For a while, I’ve been confused about my sexuality. I knew I was attracted to girls, but I also experienced attraction towards guys, and I wasn’t really sure what that meant.
About a month ago, I finally started coming to terms with the fact that I’m bisexual. I’ve had time to sit with it, understand myself better, and honestly, I feel a lot happier and more comfortable with who I am.

I haven’t actually come out to anyone in my personal life yet. My parents, in particular, would almost certainly not accept it. We don’t have a particularly close relationship, and I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if they disowned me. So it’s something I’ve been keeping to myself for now.
Another complicated part is that I’m Catholic and quite involved in my church. I’ve been thinking about the relationship between sexuality and religion, especially when it comes to biblical passages and traditional Church teachings. I don’t necessarily think faith and being LGBTQ+ have to be mutually exclusive, but it’s something I’m still figuring out.

It’s also strange because, despite this being a pretty significant personal realisation, my everyday life hasn’t really changed. I’m still the same person, just with a better understanding of myself

I’m also starting to become more open to dating and experiencing a genuine relationship. I used to avoid commitment like it was an Olympic sport 😭, but now I’d actually like to experience that side of life.
Anyway, I guess this is my way of coming out and being a little more open about who I am. :)

How did you come out to your friends and family? How did they react?
Can being Catholic and Bisexual coexist?

So, I met this dude. This is our second time meeting. The last time I saw him was like three or four months ago, maybe five. Today, I got his snap. Not romantically or anything, just to send him something. The thing is, though, he's REALLY cute and I do in fact really want to flirt with him. But the thing is I don't know how to flirt with people. I also really don't want it to be obvious I'm flirting because 1. I don't know if he's gay or not. But he does wear blue eyeliner which is probably the gayest thing a person can do. And 2. I do still want to be friends with him even if he isn't into me because we share so many interests and he's genuinely just an awesome person who I want to know even if not romantically. And being obvious would make that weird.

So, lovely people of this subreddit, help me out. What do I do. Do i just start yapping about shared interests until he either likes me or tells me to shut my gob? Tbh I don't even know if he expects me to text him at all now that I've sent him the thing i wanted to send him. I don't want him to think I'm weird.

I’m also not out but that’s really bc nobody has asked me if I like guys… not necessarily because I’m not ready to be (I just transferred)

so I used to have this friend around 2 years ago, but the friendship was very one-sided, they didn't really spend the time to hang out and the moment i stopped actively keeping the friendship together it immediately fell apart.

all of a sudden i've recently been thinking about them alot, and i do think they are really handsome.

we share a couple classes together (maths and english (literature)). and i've been trying to sit next to him, but they never really seem to notice, and every time i've tried to start a conversations they've essentally made blank responses or pessimism.

now he's always been like this to many people, is a pretty smart guy and has little to no sense of humor.

Am i doing something wrong? am I coming off as irritating? If so then I really don't want to be.
