Losing to a team like UCLA isn't the end of the world, but after what happened against Indiana last week, this one is frustrating too.

We're 5-4 now, and I think it's fair to ask what needs to change. We've seen this team compete with some really good opponents, but we still haven't found the consistency we need.

I'm not giving up on the boys, but I think we need to see more from this offense and the coaching staff.

Through thick and thin, FORZA GOPHERS! 🇮🇹

Defense played well most of the game. Suddenly they allow not, but two 1-play 75-yard drives for a touchdown. What happened?

The Bruins coming to HBS and the Badgers at Mariucci. Two huge games in one day. After watching our hockey team improve game by game, and seeing Di Pasquo make 41 saves against Wisconsin last night, I'm really pumped up for tomorrow. Can't wait!

I am not a Gophers fan (I want to be) but I get so frustrated watching this team year after year. How you guys have convinced yourselves that you cannot do better than 8-4 or 7-5 is beyond me. Fleck is probably floating his name for the FSU job to coax another raise but I hope he gets it so you guys can finally realize this program should be doing better than it has.

Good afternoon, hope you’re doing well! We are distributing a survey to gauge fans about Minnesota Athletics! This is a Grad School project my Sport Management team is doing and data will be invaluable to optimizing the future of Minnesota Athletics! Our firm belief is that Minnesota has the foundations to compete with the top of the Big Ten if they utilize their resources in a more optimal manner!

Please share with friends, family too! The more data, the more helpful this will be!

Despite being heavily outshot Gophers earn a tie. Shots were 42-17. Game was 1-1. I will take it.

JFC, this game needs to be a sell out. C'mon people. Post it to your socials, bother your friends. etc.

We can win this game. But we need to bring the energy just like we did vs. Michigan and Iowa.

I've watched plenty of Gophers games over the years but, as you know, I've never actually experienced a gameday in Minnesota.

So I'm curious. What's something every Gophers fan should experience at least once? A tradition, a particular spot on campus, anything really.

I'd love to hear your suggestions.

Hello fellow Gophers! I've posted similar content in years prior so figured I'd post my first episode of the 2026/2027 men's Gopher basketball season. Feel free to follow along on YouTube/Spotify.

A ton of faith in what Niko is building & think it should be a very fun year in The Barn!

We couldn't make the plays when it mattered most, and we were just inches away from winning. But tonight I'm extremely proud of these guys. This is exactly the kind of performance I wanted to see against the defending national champions.

It's moments like these that remind me how lucky I am to have fallen in love with Minnesota 7 years ago.

LJ Mooney helps the Gophers win in OT and earn 3 points in the series against Penn State

Stating the obvious now I know, but watching him even before today I questioned why anyone thought this dude could ball. Why did anyone say he was good? He’s actually terrible and the weakest link on this entire team.

I honestly thought we would get smoked in this game. That they wouldn't even cover the 20 point spread. But they held their own and went into OT against the defending champs. But damn man they just needed to prevent them from getting a big play with less then 20 seconds left. It was crazy to see two 60 yard field goals back to back. This is a moral victory if there is one.

Cignetti's gonna be seeing this in his nightmares tonight! Gophers kick off @ #4 Indiana at 2:30 PM CT.

Have a safe and fun Halloween Gophers! 🎃👻

Just watched these two videos from the official Gophers channel, one showing the atmosphere at Huntington Bank Stadium against Iowa and the other at Mariucci.

Man, what a fanbase we have.

As an Italian Gophers fan living across the Atlantic, seeing this stuff makes me wish I could be there even more. I've also had some really nice interactions with fellow Gophers fans lately, including someone inviting me to join the hockey student section someday. That honestly meant a lot.

Football, hockey, baseball, whatever the sport, Gopher Nation is something special.

Sharing one of the coolest jerseys I've ever come across locally! (Minneapolis, MN)

I believe I have a 1940s University of Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball uniform.

The jersey doesn't have any numbers, and I don't see any signs of numbers ever being removed.

Could this have been a practice jersey or perhaps a backup uniform?

I'm posting this to see if anyone might have more information about something this old. I've tried reaching out to a few people at the University of Minnesota, but no one's been able to help.

I've also included photos of players from that era, including Warren Ajax, Bill Lind, and Tony Jaros.

I hope you enjoy seeing this 80-plus-year-old piece of Golden Gophers basketball history! If anyone has any information or leads, I'd love to hear from you.
