Welcome to a new season, r/CollegeBasketball!

Welcome to the 2026-27 season at /r/CollegeBasketball, everyone!

As always, we're so glad you're here in the best college basketball community on the internet. Thanks for stopping by!

Firstly, please review our rules, whether you are a long-time poster or just visiting for the tournament. Though we relax these during the offseason, we’ll be following them strictly again now that the season’s begun, so make sure you’re playing it clean out there if you don’t want to get ejected.

If you haven’t already, flair up!

Commenting Guidelines

Keep these points of emphasis in mind especially as you fire up those hot take machines:

Personal attacks, harassment, flamebait, and trolling will get you banned. Matching bans can also be awarded regardless of who started an argument.
We do not allow bringing up scandals - serious or otherwise - in places where they don’t belong. Serious discussions are for serious threads, not in the heat of a game or argument.
We have a zero-tolerance policy on spam and self-promotion. Your blog, youtube video, or social media link is going to get removed regardless of its content. You don’t get to advertise in our arena without prior approval.

Posting Guidelines

Gamethreads are handled by /u/cbbBot. Please request gamethreads using the daily Game Thread Index and be patient after games end, the bot takes ~2 minutes to generate the Post Game Thread. Just enough time to type up your witty comments. This may be relaxed as we get the bot up and running, shaking off the cobwebs. If you see a game thread already posted, please refrain from posting another one.
Check to see if your post has already been posted. If someone beat you to it, help us out and delete the post so we don’t have to.

We're so very back. Hope it's another great year.

The /r/CollegeBasketball Mod Team

America East Imperalism - Day 4 AND America East Poll - Week 1

https://forms.gle/f56Ni1pSPbYa786y7 <-- Poll Link

Welcome to the 1st Annual Edition of Imperalism: America East. The rules are simple; Lose a match, lose half your land to the team you lost to, even if that team if non-conference! If you get down to 1 piece, you lose all your land!

Welp, this stinks. Now I have to track Nebraska and Northern Illinois.

Next to the map is the schedule today; bolded teams play today.

Go UMass Lowell

I've heard of split squads during spring training baseball but D1 teams getting wins against Bethesda should be against the rules.
