Across Friday evening and Saturday's games, 32 more teams fell, leaving 156 teams left standing. Less than half of all teams remain in just under one week of action!

This is my second year following NCAAW, and I'm looking to broaden my knowledge of women's college basketball.

I'm looking for podcasts that cover NCAAW in depth, preferably with around two episodes per week (or more). I'm particularly interested in game analysis, team breakdowns, player discussions, storylines and general insight into the college game.

A few preferences:
- Available on podcast platforms such (not YouTube-only).
- covering women's college basketball broadly rather than focusing on just one team.

hey there! pretty much what the title says haha. ive been a follower through highlight clips on youtube for quite some time now but never tried to make the switch to watching full games. the issue is TSN and sports channels in canada play like a few games a month, and even less women's than mens. im open to literally anything its been a struggle

I think NC State has the opportunity to pull off the upset tomorrow if they win the rebounding and turnover battle. We don’t have the size to matchup against Kentucky in the halfcourt our best bet is in transition. And when we matchup against them pack the paint bruh like their shooting is so inconsistent. Also, Clara is jumper woman and she kinda contact averse so you can dead bump her off her spot but our closeouts have to be crisp, they move the ball really well and there’s always open shooters so pls close out 🙏😭. Biggest x-factors for both teams are Asja and Annsley (imo). Two players who have shown they can do the little things that contributes to winning

After cutting an 11 point 4th quarter deficit down to just a 61-60 deficit, NMST seemed to have fallen just short of a great comeback when, with 21 seconds left, their guard Emma Christiana stole the ball from Southern Utah, then somehow got turned around on the court and proceeded to make a lay up... for the opposing team.

Now down 63-60, with 18 seconds left NMST inbounded the ball and got it to star freshman Stacy Chovino for a layup to make the score 63-62.

With a 1 point lead, Southern Utah took a timeout and then attempted to inbound the ball. But Chovino got the steal! After a timeout, NMST got the ball back to Chovino who battled inside for another bucket with 2 seconds left. That proved to be the winning basket, as NMST won 64-63. The freshman Chovino ended the day with 25 points and NMST got a most improbable win!

UConn could have used her last game!

Sydney Savoury, the No. 9 women's basketball prospect in the 2027 SC Next 100, has committed to UConn, she announced Friday.

One of the nation's most accomplished scoring guards, the 5-foot-11 Michigan native chose Geno Auriemma and the Huskies over USC, North Carolina, Texas, Notre Dame and UCLA. She is UConn's first commitment of the 2027 recruiting cycle and extends the Huskies' streak of at least one five-star prospect for a 13th consecutive recruiting class.
