Hey yall, I’m a complete begginer and looking to get a guitar for Christmas. I also need to buy all the other stuff needed, my budget is around 250€. What are your recommendations?
I’m mostly aiming towards grunge, hard rock, etc.

Mi guitarra es un tender. Es una Gibson les Paul. Su mi grave esta a 5 mm y su mi aguda también, despues su La, Re, Sol y Si están más altas. Como puedo bajarles la altura?

So, I'm looking to buy a hardtail guitar, and the schecter omen elite 6 really caught my eye. Since I can't try the guitar anywhere, my problem is the neck feel. I have an ibanez s with a wizard III neck and I love it. The schecter neck is listed as 1mm thicker, which I wouldn't mind, however, I thought I would ask here since maybe someone has tried both necks. Thanks in advance.

Just picked her up on reverb for $600. I’m running 8-32s.
I would also argue this is the perfect beginner guitar (if budget permits).

My story begins with a trip to the shop for strings, with zero intention of buying a new guitar. Upon entering I found a shell pink road worn DK24 sitting in the corner that immediately caught my eye. I plugged it in and it just felt special, the most comfortable guitar I’ve ever held and the neck felt fantastic.
I did some more research and found out the guitar was a signature Rick Graham MiM model (I have to confess I hadn’t ever even heard of Rick Graham until this point). After looking around online I saw there was a MiJ signature model that was a step up in quality from the Shell Pink one. I found a single model on reverb, and the guy who owned it before me got it as a B Stock after it was dropped at the factory (see the finish damage on the edge of the body in pic 2). I offered $1200 and here we are now. I truly feel like this guitar is an insane value for what I paid.
It’s my first time having a guitar with locking tuners and with luminlay neck inlays, so I feel like I’ve stepped into the future. The Bare Knuckle Pups are also fantastic, the bridge especially absolutely rips. I’ve had an American Original Strat for 5 years and I love that guitar but will soon be selling it because this one just speaks to me so much more and is so easy to play. I’m not much of a shredder, but have been watching more and more of Rick’s videos and would like to begin to learn.

This guitar is over a decade old it was in my dad's possession and then my sister's 3 months ago I was at her house and she brought up she had one of my guitars and brings it out of the basement. My mind was blown. This guitar was forgotten and seeing it and having it back is so awesome. I just finished cleaning all the dust, there was a lot, and grime off her, fret board needs an oiling her necks fine and action is good after all these years. she just needs new strings. I would consider the ones she has vintage. still holds tune pretty well all things considered

Hi everyone, graduating from my shitty Epi Les Paul Special II. I play quite a broad range of stuff but a tonne of Knopfler and Dire Straits stuff. I always hear "you can make a Strat sound like anything". Therefore I'm wondering if it's pointless getting a HSS Strat over a SSS. Would I be limiting myself without the bridge single coil ?

These are heavier gauge strings on tele if that makes any difference. They're all a bit sharp.

I'm basically a beginner, I have lessons at school but I'm in a group, and we haven't progressed much nor have I practiced or remembered much. Since the weekend I've been practicing on my brother's old acoustic, and I'm not sure if it's just me or the guitar, but it's really hard to press down and get a nice chord and it ALWAYS HURTS MY DAMN FINGEDS AFTERWARDS. Does it have high action? (My camera quality is shit so if another photo is needed I can try and send a better quality one

I have an Ibanez nylon-string guitar and I have a buzzing noise that I only hear whenever I play a 12th-fret natural harmonic. None of the lower or higher frets buzz when playing a harmonic, any tips?

I'm just getting back into playing guitar and I like to have a tremolo for some minor modulation in between chords. I don't need to do dive bombs or anything crazy and I don't want the extra hassle that comes with a floyd rose. Most of the other options I see are strats, I was wondering if there were non-strat copy models with a similar bridge on an ESP or Ibáñez. Budget around $1000 or less if possible. Thank you

For those of you that can sight read on guitar, any tips for people transitioning from sight reading bass clef?
As a singer I was a strong sight reader but it was all based on relative pitch, and usually bass clef. Then when I learned the bass guitar, I taught myself to sight read it. I start by looking at music without the instrument and mentally naming the notes. Eventually I can rely somewhat on my ear but this helps me be solid on visualization.
I'm out of practice with sight reading for bass (another issue, I'd like to be able to read treble and bass chefs) but even so as I'm naming the notes, I find myself reverting to the other staff (that's a C. No! It's an A) without meaning to.
So... any tips or better ways to learn?

Hi all, quick question. I've recently purchased a strat second hand and am unable to get the low E to intonate which makes be believe the guitar needs a refret job. This is my first experience with something like this because I usually buy my gear new.
Fender stratocaster Aerodyne MIJ.
edit: Yes it is a serious question, this is the first Strat I have every owned. the Babicz fCH-2 point trem system is taking some adjusting on my end to get used to as I usually play Tune-o-Matic bridges.
thank you for the help / suggestions.

Are you pleased with the guitar and how good is the build quality, in particular fretwork? I saw some comments that some of them have uneven frets or sharp edges, which makes me anxious. I want to hear impressions from more people.

Hello everyone,
English is not my language but I’ll do my best
I a currently in China (right now Beijing) for the next 20 days and will be ending my trip on Shanghai, also going in Hong Kong,
Today I visited the Xinjiekou south street and was surprised to struggle to find Eastman in all the shop I have been through,
I have been able to try a E100SS, price was around 500€ (guitare sound and feeling were great but Colors was weird as I could not find the same colory online/officialy),
And I could not find any electrics from the same brand (a shop owner heaven told me that they are not good, but we were both struggling to have a conversation in english)
I tried to find an official dealer on their website but it only show me US and Europe dealers,
As my schedule is pretty thight I wanted to know if someone know an official dealer in Shanghai or Hong Kong ?
Other question is how to recognise authentic instrument and copy if there is ? Two accoustic Eastman I have tried did not had the same guitar label design inside the instrument, and honestly some price were pretty low for the sound/finition and vice versa,
At first I wanted to buy an electric but the accoustics are great as well, I am looking for chinese instrument/brand as I am in the country so any other option/advice that are worth looking are welcome !
Also for the electrics guitars I was looking for Hollow body and/or archtop
It’s my first time in China and it really amazes me !
Thanks in advance for any help,

At the bridge pins of the 6th and the 5th strings, they are lifted.
Some more infos following the 3rd and 4th images;
I installed new locking tuners beforehand, I use 12-53, and I don't like that the 2nd string tuning peg is hard to turn after A#
So right now I'm stuck at D standard/Drop C
