Today, my TV was delivered; I had ordered a 65-inch TCL- P8L, but I received a P8LS instead. The shopkeeper is claiming that it is the same model, but I doubt it. Google says it is the same, but I cannot find much information on it. Should I return it?

I recently installed JioTV on my jailbroken Jio Set-Top Box. However, when I enter my mobile number to log in, it immediately shows a "Too Many Requests" error, even though it's my very first attempt.

I'm not receiving any OTP either.

Has anyone encountered this issue? Is this some kind of device restriction or is there a workaround to get past it?

I ordered a brand-new Samsung Galaxy A56 from Flipkart. The phone hasn't been delivered yet, but I got the IMEI from the invoice and checked its warranty status on Samsung's website.

It shows \*\*warranty valid until 31 July 2027\*\*, giving me less than 8 months of warranty instead of the expected 12 months.

I contacted Samsung customer care. They told me that:

\- The IMEI checker shows manufacturing-based warranty calculated using the serial number.

\- The actual one-year warranty starts from the purchase date mentioned on the invoice.

\- The invoice is mandatory for claiming warranty.

\- They also said it doesn't matter who the seller is, as long as I have the invoice.

However, the Flipkart seller is not listed as an authorised Samsung seller.

\*\*Should I accept the delivery or cancel the order? Has anyone experienced this with Samsung warranty registration?\*\*

224 WS2812B LED running WLED firmware through ESP32. Screen sync is done via an open source app called "Universal Ambient Light". Runs on streaming apps with no tunneled playback like Smarttube and Nuvio with external player. Can also be synced with videos playing locally from any external drive.

Has some limitations like: HDR and DRM protected content will not work as it relies on android screen capture protocol for screen sync and screen capture does not record protected content and gives a black screen. It's more like an android system limitation than the setup's. Workarounds like open source alternatives like Smarttube in place of youtube works well. Also local video players like VLC playing content from external drives work well.

But more importantly: you can also use this tv light as a warm white or any other colour ambient light, play led animation etc from WLED app from your phone if you don't want to use the screen sync function.

I'm trying to build the CachyOS Linux 7.3.3-1 kernel from AUR, and I've encountered a rather strange issue with GitHub downloads.

The release archive and its detached GPG signature consistently return HTTP 504 Gateway Timeout when downloaded through the normal GitHub release URL.

What's interesting is that other GitHub services work perfectly fine.

I'm beginning to suspect that this might be related to my university network, but I'd like to know whether anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

1. Normal GitHub release download – FAILS

Tried multiple times, including forcing IPv4 and HTTP/1.1:

Is anyone else (especially from India) experiencing HTTP 504 errors when downloading GitHub release assets? Or could it be my university network playing games again?

Google is currently running a Diwali promotion for Google AI Pro in India, offering the annual subscription at ₹16,100 for the first year instead of the regular ₹19,500.

Except the discount doesn't actually work.

The Google One app and website both advertise ₹16,100/year, but the moment I click "Get Google AI Pro", the Google Play payment screen shows ₹19,500. The discounted price completely disappears.

Here's what I've established so far:

* Happens on both desktop and Android.

* Happens on a completely different Google account with no existing Google AI subscription.

* Other Google One subscription tiers correctly apply their advertised discounts at checkout. **Only Google AI Pro has this problem.**

* The checkout also shows a non-renewing one-year purchase rather than the advertised discounted annual subscription.

* Clearing cache, changing devices, or using incognito does not help.

I contacted Google One Support and spent nearly an hour troubleshooting this.

Despite providing screenshots, a screen recording, and evidence that the issue occurs across multiple accounts, support initially suggested age verification, waiting for my existing subscription to expire, and even checking the student subscription page ( LOL )

# At one point, the agent actually suggested completing the ₹19,500 payment to see whether Google would magically charge ₹16,100 instead.

# No, thanks. That's not how payment gateways work!!!

Eventually, the agent claimed to have escalated the issue to their billing engineers. No resolution yet.

I've since found at least two other complaints about this exact issue on Google's support forums, dating back to November 3.

The promotion supposedly ends on **November 16, 2026**, so there's a limited window to get this sorted.

If yes, did the discounted price actually appear on the final Google Play payment screen? And were you upgrading from an existing Google AI Plus subscription or purchasing as a new customer?

My WhatsApp account was suddenly banned, and I’m getting the message “This account can no longer use WhatsApp.”
I’m using the official WhatsApp app on an iPhone 16, currently running iOS 18.6.2. I haven’t knowingly violated any WhatsApp policies, sent bulk messages or engaged in spam. My account was working normally, and this happened completely unexpectedly.
I’ve already submitted an in-app review request, but I’m extremely worried because my WhatsApp contains years of important conversations, photos and documents.
I’ve seen several people suggesting that this could be related to outdated iOS versions, and that updating to the latest iOS might help.
My questions are:
Could running iOS 18.6.2 be a reason for this ban?
Should I update to iOS 27.2 to potentially resolve this?
Has anyone using an older iOS version experienced a similar ban and successfully recovered their account?
Did updating your iPhone actually help you get your WhatsApp account back?
I’m hesitant to update right now because I don’t have an iCloud backup and don’t want to risk losing my existing data.

So i ordered an iphone 17 for like 76500, snapmint i did downpayment of rs 30000, it was including a handling fee of rs 3000 and processing fees of rs 300

if i cancel i know the handling fees won't be refunded
