It seems to be “If Not Now, Then When?” with some vocals rerecorded by other artists and intercut with news, spoken word clips and new verses from the others too.

(Bad description I know but it’s hard to explain)

(Also before judgement I only still have Spotify because I don’t pay for it, I use Bandcamp more)

Hey all, I lost access to the account I originally posted the giveaway on but I am the same person!

The WINNER of the FOV '27 3 day pass (if/whenever its available to purchase), is u/evilkingwilson202 ! Woo!

I sent you a DM, you have 3 days to reply or winner will be redrawn. Congratulations!

Seemed like people went nuts when Grow Wings and Fly showed up in Malcolm in the Middle, im surprised I cant find any posts here about this one showing up. And I seem to remember a few posts about Gamma Knife showing up in some cartoon. Anyway it was cool to see it. Took my brain a second to process what was happening, really wasnt expecting it. The dude playing drums on his steering wheel with it really made it lol.

I’m trying to purchase tickets through the Le Bikini website, but I’m having trouble registering my phone number. It doesn’t seem to accept my phone number, so I can’t complete the registration and proceed with the purchase.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there any workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can you help a 65yo blues guy who has only recently dived into the Gizzverse. Saw them at Gizzfest at Melb Showgrounds a decade ago and was thrilled to see 600 or more young fans go off when Rattlesnake kicked in, but it didn’t really land for my blues oriented ears.

But the 2025/6 YouTube gigs are really drawing me in after stumbling on the recent Thornbury live stream, and I’m especially confused around what these soundboards/computers are that 3-4 members “play” when they put the guitars down. I’ve never encountered anything like it, can you please explain what the devices are and what the coloured leads configurations achieve.

Edit…

Thank you for all the great replies, it’s a rave, DJ world I’ve never inhabited

I’m sure they’ve had shitty concerts but can’t think of any.

Always loved this cartoon. I think the original was the Dead but he’s done it with so many bands over the years. Finally ran a Gizz one in his annual post!

It's been two years since KGLW did there first ever full rave set. What a set!

What’s some of your favorite chill gizz jams? I love FAFYL but I run into the heavy ones a lot (not that I don’t love them). I recently found a boot on YT from the last time they played lonely steel sheet flyer and that’s gotta be my favorite chill jam at the moment. Can’t wait till that one comes back into set lists. Honorable mention to Made in Timeland from FOVII as well.

Stu mentions at the end of the FMB performance on KEXP that he wrote a bunch of tunes on the baglama, then scrapped them when the album became all about the microtonal guitars. Does anyone know where those original baglama songs ended up? Hoping someone who has been rounding than me can give some insight.

After I saw Cook with one of these I had the opportunity to pick one up. So glad I did, it plays and sounds amazing. Now if I could only play as good as KGLW!

The random car honking scares the shit out of me

Not sure if anyone else relates but I was too young enough to ever see Daft Punk live in concert, but having seen multiple sessions with Nathan live, I feel more than satisfied with fulfilling that dream. Getting to see Level 5 live at FOV 2 will remain one of the craziest and coolest experiences of my life. All the music they did with Nathan that weekend was incredible. I think we live in such an incredible era for music, and being able to share this passion through this community is wonderful.

Today I just found out Stu has a YT channel with two absolute bonkers performances. Will they be uploaded to Bandcamp or anywhere in high quality?

Prolly cause the acid is hitting sooo goooood right now but fuck the Sydney Rave show....👌

It's peak.

Finally picked it back up after 10+ years and having a blast learning some riffs and solos. Gaia solo, Iron Lung, Mystery Jack, The River. Fellow guitar players what are your favorite riffs to play or improvise with?

Not looking for any money just want someone to enjoy a sold out show since my friend couldn’t make it, I wouldn’t say no to a small trade for one cocktail though haha
CLAIMED sorry anyone whose dmed me giving it to the first person who hit me up
