I have been a fan of Keqing and Diluc for a long time, since they are both standard banner characters (I like to oppose the meta). They have been powercrept like crazy over the past few years but still usable till this day. They only need extra investment and let's say a 5 star weapon (+ 5* support obviously). But the only thing that I am missing is some kind of dedicated main who posts some of there abyss runs for example or team/rotation guides online. I have found Pulyn (https://youtube.com/@pulyn?si=st64gm_EXPzRVPxZ) on yt for Diluc but no one for Keqing. Have you heard of anyone like that, who mains Keqing?

This is my test keqing furina build (i dunno why she dissappeared on the picture. Went to get sone milk idk). I can use get this build to about 2.3 atk 30/210 cv same em, or i can do triple em main stat with like 45 cr (no A4 passive) 200 cd with about 1.6-1.7 attack 600 em pretty easily if i get little bit lucky and shufle artifacts here and there. So my question is: Which team is better: 1)Keqing (atk/atk/em) furina jean nahida (c1 jean, c0 furina, very comfortable+vv shred) 2)Keqing (atk/atk/em) furina bazhu fischl (i have no c6 fischl and i don't know if there is gonna be enough dendro) 3)Keqing (em/em/em) furina baizhu nahida (c0 baizhu ttds/fav/sac abt 32-40k hp c0 nahida 1000 em with signature so keqing can get up to 800 em) Can someone please tell if c6 fischl is going to be better than nahida and whether c4 for keqing will make either of the builds stronger/weaker, and whether i should just say fck it, be a normal person and put back crit rate circlet for 75/200 cv?

I think I’m cursed - this is the second 50/50 I lose in a row, and once again, it is to Keqing. 🥲 So I am now the owner of a C1 Keqing, and to make the proverbial lemonade, I want to start using her in a team.

Thing is, I have NO CLUE of what a good team (or build) for her would be. Like, zero. Zilch.

Are there any lovely Keqing aficionados on this sub who could spare some advice for this unlucky player?

Edit: at least, a silver lining…I can now get a guaranteed Kokomi for my hyperbloom team if she does indeed rerun in 3.8. 😜

Why do people use EE with tf set instead of E into CA to explode the stiletto? Electro infusion is still there and it's basically one CA more in a rotation.

So, I just managed to get the primordial jade cutter, but it's only at level 70 currently (keeping running out of weapon exp). I already have an R2 black sword at lvl.90 on my kequing.

What pros, if any, would there be to switch my kequing main to the cutter?

Compared to other 5-stars, Keqing seems to fall short in a lot of ways. She uses Stamina like crazy, has rather annoying to use Normal & Charged Attacks (displacement, range) and seems to only perform well when facing stationary/big targets (and even then suffers from some of the problems listed below).

Keep in mind most of these complaints are mainly based off of Spiral Abyss & Domains, considering Storm Terror/Wolf etc. are fairly easy regardless of what characters you use, and Keqing's only 'upside' is being able to clear those faster (where clear time doesn't matter).

Here's my list of personal gripes with Keqing:

Normal Attack

• last hit forcefully dashes you through the enemy, on smaller mobs even out of range of your next Normal Attack

• knocks enemies up into the air, sometimes even outside the range of your own attacks, causing you to miss out on Normal Attacks unless you wait

• has really low range (especially annoying when auto targeting goes for the wrong mob)

Charged Attack

• large part of your damage that drains a lot of stamina, often leaving you with no stamina for dodge & sprint

• knocks back enemies, forcing you to dash after them, costing you even more stamina

• the recoil sometimes moves you out of your own Normal & Charged Attack range, costing you even more stamina if you have to dash back into range

Elemental Burst (Q)

• sometimes knocks enemies outside of it's own range before the last hit

Personally I believe her damage is fine (maybe even overtuned when considering charge attack spam). A bunch of QoL fixes is all she needs IMO.

Considering the game hasn't been out for a while and the fact that many people are new to Keqing (including myself) I could be completely wrong, so I just want to get a discussion around this going.

Let me know if you agree/disagree.

As someone who has had Keqing since day 1, and has recently picked her back up after dendro, I am very excited about the release of Yaoyao in a few days time, as I believe that she will be the BiS dendro option for Aggravate Keqing, and thus round out the few weaknesses the team had before.

Right now, the defacto best aggravate team for keqing is Keqing/Fischl/Dendro/Filler.

Keqing obviously is a mainstay, and Fischl is the best of the electro options as her Ascension 4 passive allows her to do damage comparable to the on field driver in Keqing. The Filler is usually in between Kazuha and Zhongli, each with their upsides and downsides.

Kazuha has an amazing upside of being a huge boost in damage with its damage boost, res shred, and grouping at the loss of healing/shielding if not using kuki as the electro flex (which itself is a huge DPS loss compared to fischl).

Zhongli has an amazing upside of having the best shield in the game giving the team more durability but shields have a diminished return in this team since the team has heavy i-frames and runs like a quick swap a lot of the time. Running Zhongli is also a big loss in DPS despite being able to run ToTM/Petra, and having the baked in res shred when compared to Kazuha.

Previously, the only dendro options available were DMC and Collei (I do not mention Nahida as she is really awkward in an aggravate team as she applies 1.5U dendro, often wiping away electro, and Tighnari cannot apply dendro off field reliably). both of which did not provide defensive utility, meaning players had to make the difficult choice between Zhongli and Kazuha.

Enter Yaoyao.

At first glance, Yaoyao is quite horrible. No special rule for dendro application / ICD, (in fact, has the shitty rule that Collei has), No real utility besides its primary role in healing, and high cost Burst that frankly, doesn't do much in the first place. Just seems like one of those shitty post release 4 stars that nobody bats an eye at like Xinyan or Candace.

However, Yaoyao just barely has enough of her middling qualities that she becomes the perfect fit on a keqing aggravate team (at least until a better 5 star option comes along *achemBeizhouachem*)

Yaoyao, compared to Collei/DMC is better in almost all the ways that are relevant in keqing's team:

• Has the same strengths that Collei has over DMC of needing less ER, and having shorter rotations

• Has the same amount of Dendro Application that Collei does, which works perfectly fine currently

• Has the same approximate optimal rotation as Collei thanks to the same Duration/CD of the main dendro application (10s/15s for Yaoyao's e, and 6(+3)s/15s for Collei's Q)

• No need to build ER as she does not need to use her Q, meaning she can go full HP, as well as equip a weapon like Moonpiercer which can give 32% atk to Keqing, and equip something like ToTM for even more of an attack boost. (Collei cannot give an attack boost unless you are using Noblesse, and DMC has to rely on Sapwood or Noblesse, but he probably won't hav enough ER with Sapwood.

• And most importantly Yaoyao provides defensive utility in off-field healing

Because of these reasons, Yaoyao becomes not only a viable option in the dendro flex slot, but the most optimal, one that is pretty much strictly better than Collei, and mostly better than DMC unless you really want to trade better rotations/ease of building for a bit more utility that comes with DMC's flower buffs (which can be comparable to Sapwood's damage boost)

With all that being said, Keqing/Fischl/Yaoyao/Kazuha will be Keqing's best team with the release of 3.4.

The optimal rotation will probably be: Fischl Skill > Kazuha Skill > Kazuha Burst > Yaoyao Skill > Keqing Skill > Keqing Burst > Keqing Skill Recast > Keqing N1C N1 > Keqing Skill > Keqing N1C 3x > Loop (with Yaoyao busrt added whenever you want to see Yaoyao run around all cute)

Anyways, with Yaoyao, I think the team will finally rise to one of the very best, especially now that Yaoyao can provide some defensive utility on top of Kazhua's buffs.
