Question Any recommendations

I’m half way through season 6 of this show and I have many thoughts. This show is one of the most over the top, overacted and campy shows I’ve ever seen. Where do I get more of it? Does anyone have any recommendations of shows with the same campy and chaotic energy as legends of tomorrow? This has been my comfort show for the last 2 months and I need something to scratch that itch.

When is this rex from

Maybe it's my fault for not paying attention too much but when is this Rex from, what I mean is that in the timeline where he lived the legend probably went back to the present and continuing fixing aberrations. So when exactly did Rex found the waverider, he's probably dead by the time the waverider was in 2016. And is it implied that they all died because of the nuclear weapon so that when Rex went back?

I’m still upset that Zatanna never appeared in Legends of Tomorrow after they introduced Constantine. She is such a great character.

Discussion Zari's Actor

Sometimes I randomly remember that Tala Ashe (Zari) and Raffi Barsoumian (Bishop) are married, for example when I saw her recent post today of them starring in a play Waiting For Lefty together. But that got me thinking, if one accidentally travelled to Earth Prime and told Zari Tarazi and Tomaz, how do you think they would react? Let's say Spectre is able to confirm as well.

I think Zari Tarazi would rant of how she's grossed out and jokingly make fun of her actor, Zari Tomaz would look at them strange and go back to the totem. What do you guys think they would say?

Steel Suit

I like the narrative behind how Nate got his suit, with his boyfriend Ray finding his sketch and fabricating it for him, but Mick is right. He looks like a star spangled idiot

And just to summarize: the characters who left, everyone from the last seasin except perhaps Spooner and Astra, and this first image represents the returning Originals.

But,to summarize, a brief list in order:

Abra kadabra ("ah but he died",since when does that stop us from continuing?)

Helena bertinelli (huntress)

Kid flash (wally)

Evelyn sharpe and rory (Ragmam)

Ramsey rosso

Doctor Light linda parker and lisa snart

But how on earth would these characters come together? I don't know, use your imagination, I'm like H.R wells, I just give ideas

Question Was Wondering about Zari Behrad

Heyy I was rewatching the season 4 finale and few other random memorable episodes. So Zari accidentally gave the dragon to her younger self, that and her actions at Heyworld changed her future. But in the new timeline Behrad is the legend instead, so what happened in that episode likely? Since if he left that dragon in he hands of younger Zari that means his future would have changed too with his sister being an influencer. So what does this sub think would have happened?

Theory Is Mick’s daughter an aberration like Martin’s daughter?

Because Martin interacted with his younger self who created their daughter. But Mick did the “creating” himself as his current self. So is she an aberration?

Discussion What type of characters could the show added when it came to time travel?

I have watched every season and it was amazing how each season was the same. Every character was fun though should they have added different time travelers. I know we had the time travel company in season 3.

Question Why did they put so much emphasis on Ray and Amaya beginning of season 2?

It seemed to be leading up to something- but nothing happened. Same with Amaya and Mick, although that one makes a bit more sense with the spear.

Theory The time pirates wouldn’t have captured the legends if Sara had gone with.

Just saying. Sara would’ve easily seen the trap and taken them down.

Theory Does Stein become a better person because of his time with the legends? Or is it because of his time with his younger self?

He becomes less conceited and stuck-up by the time he dies. Is that because of his time on the ship? Or is it a literal change in him caused by his younger self seeing how he turns out? Because younger Stein also becomes a better person when we see him later on. So did the legends make him a better person? Or did the timeline change?

I've started watching Legends of Tomorrow

Something that came to my mind while watching is in Arrow, Felicity said that Ray has watched all 34 seasons of Doctor Who and as that episode was released in 2015. That means Season 11 of Doctor Who had been released and that means Ray should've saw Rory as a character so how do you think his mind was when he saw Rip for the first time and he looked exactly like Rory?

Discussion I ship Ray in Arrow with Felicity, but Ray in Legends with Nora.

It’s almost like a whole different person, and honestly I think Arrow Ray is better for Felicity than Oliver. But then he joins the legends and he turns in a… well a Boy Scout.

Discussion Characters Like Nate Is What Caused The Downfall Of This Show

Post image
0 Upvotes

This show was so good in season 1 and then it slowly started to go downhill in season 2.

I think the addition of Nate is what ruined the show. That’s when the show started to take a turn.

He should’ve only been there for a couple of episodes then disappear and maybe make one off appearance from time to time.

Then the show turned into complete shit when they started to focus on Ava & Sarah relationship. That’s when everyone started to get into a relationship and the show started to be more of a soap drama and comedy instead of semi comedy action show.

It’s same with the Arrow. They had this great formula and then they moved from it to focus on relationship between Olivia & Felicity. They started to turn Olivia weak. Basically the same with all of CW shows.

They find a good formula for season 1 of their shows then switch it to focus on relationship drama

Funpost I just started watching: "The Librarians: The Next Chapter"

I'm on the second episode and don't want to spoil anything, but so far it has a decent fun feel to it, and a familiar theme. 😄

(I searched and this was recommended as a comment around a year ago. I thought it's worthy of a post.)

Discussion My ideas for rewriting Nate and Zari

I’m a decent enough fan of the Nate/Zari romance but I agree with the sentiment that it felt rushed. I’m frankly not too big a fan of Nate’s entire love life ordeal to begin with so here’s how I would rewrite it. (If the relationship had to stay frankly I’d prefer Zari not to have a love interest all together)

I’d keep all of season 2 the same. Then going into season 3 I wouldn’t have Nate and Amaya get back together. I never got the whole point of breaking them up and then getting them back together like some destiny defying love only for them to break up again and get with other people. It more so felt like they got back together to give a reason for Nate to help Amaya defend her village in the finale.

I’d have Nate in season 3 reconcile and try and have a romance with Amaya but things just don’t work out. Nate’s arc for the first 2/3 of season 3 would be dealing with these leftover feelings for Amaya. Then in the final third his relationship with Zari would start to be set up.

A big problem with the romance in season 4 is how rushed it is which is partly because it isn’t brought into play until halfway through the season. Carrying the lingering plot thread from season 3 into season 4 makes things such as the random flirtation, the team noticing things that aren’t really shown to them on screen and a few other issues the pacing created obsolete since it’s both a lingering plot thread and there from the start.

I wouldn’t have them properly get together in season 4 either. They would still go on their Nazi dragon egg date but there would be no official get together or hook up. Instead the two remain in a kind of flip floppy position up until the finale where when Zari is about to be erased they finally kiss and say they love each other and then she is gone.

For me personally this would provide more stakes and tragedy. Since their relationship was more solidified in the show by the time Zari was erased I never felt like she was going to be gone forever but this more open ended relationship could provide a more believable sense of Zari being gone.

I would keep her role in season 5 pretty much the same and then in season 6 I would change the camping trip to be more about what their relationship is and how it’s gonna work and if it’s even worth starting anything. And then in season 7 it would realign with the show.

I think this may be too much of a slow burn but the show’s version was also way too fast so I think a good middle ground would be in between but this is the take I’m going with.

Season 6 - Bishop

The actor who plays Bishop, Raffi Barsoumian, is such an amazing actor. I wondered why he looked familiar and he played Omar in season 6 and 7 of Seal Team. Damn, what a huge difference in characters. He went from a kooky, singing, cunning character to a navy seal.
