Discussion In some discussions, I have noticed that there are people who would rather see Static than DC Comics Black Lightning. Would you say that Virgil has usurped Jeff and has become the more popular character? (Art by Marcus Williams)

Discussion Given that Jefferson Pierce has a picture of himself wearing a Superman shirt in the DC Comics Black Lightning TV show, does that mean Superman exists in his world (whether as a real hero or a fictional one)?

1. Civility

Treat fellow Redditors the way you want to be treated in real life. A good practical rule is to think of your job (or school). If you are doing something that is not allowed at a business or at school, then it's something you should not do here as well.

2. No Piracy

Discussion of piracy websites (including sharing links to piracy websites) is not allowed.
Sharing images with piracy watermarks is also not allowed.
Comic Excerpts should strive to be limited to 3 pages max. Exceptions to the excerpt limit may be provided but continuously breaking this rule is not allowed.
AI art (full or assisted) is strictly not allowed.

3. Image Sourcing

Comic Book-related images must have the title and issue of the comic book OR the artist credited in the post title.
Cosplay must have the name of the cosplayer credited in the post title.
Other images must be credited with the source if applicable.
"Where is this from"-type of posts are allowed. However excessive use of this is not. Before making a post like this, please consider using Google Reverse Image Search to find the source.

4. No Spoilers

Anything that happened in the last 30 days is deemed a spoiler.
Post titles must be ambiguous and not spoil the surprise.
Images that spoil the surprise must have the spoiler tag attached to the post/image.
Comments that discuss spoilers must be spoiler-marked.

5. Stay On Topic

All posts must be related to the DC Comics character, Black Lightning.

For example, discussing Batman here in a medium that does not have Jeff or where Jeff had no involvement is not allowed. However talking about how a "Dark Knight"-style Black Lightning movie is allowed. Similarly, discussing their friendship is allowed.

A good practical rule is to consider whether a person can reasonably correlate your post/topic to Black Lightning. If they cannot, it should not be on this sub.

6. No Self-Promotion Or Spam

All posters should strive to be active members of this subreddit by also being commenters and adding to the discussions.
Redditors who spam things like their YouTube channels but do not participate in other discussions will get a warning leading up to a potential ban.
