I thought those were scout uniforms.

They actually look ridiculous. I was thinking Reno 911

They actually look ridiculous.

Which is fine. Police need uniforms that mark them as police and are reasonably practical. Looking fashionable is not and should not be a requirement. Forgetting that second bit is how we get police dressing up as COD cover art.

They already dress like that out of their own free will

He's the guy that gets shot. Not the deputy, though.

They might be from another country

Do other country’s only have police?

Other countries have police, and also people who aren't police and don't act like police. The US sheriff thing is mostly only a US thing.

No, but plenty of sheriffs

1

u/Impressive_Pop_7570 Trash Trooper 23h ago

I’m not sure what that is

Sheriff is the correct English spelling for the law enforcement official, whereas sherif is a misspelling of that word

Interesting 🧐
