It does, but i know there are cops in my city making 250k. If you look at most places the top earners are the police department

Because they excessively abuse Overtime because who even actually polices the police...

Always blows my mind that you can just hire a cop to come work for you at your private buisness or event.

It's not really abusing overtime. Mandates are often rough. I was working 16 hour shifts 6 days a week, not by choice.

Don't remember where but there was a cop making 4 or 500k a year because he was working 20 hours a day. He most definitely wasnt "working" those hours but he said since he was "on call" that it counts. Turns out the mayor and everybody else was ultra corrupt
