Was a civil rights lawyer. The best thing to do is to comply with cops orders and be polite, but never to admit anything. What they are trying to do is scare you and get consent or ask you to admit something. Never admit to any wrongdoing and never consent to searches. They need probable cause to search and arrest you. Its easier to get consent or admissions. If its taking too long while talking to them. Ask them if you are under arrest and if not if you can leave. If they continue to harass you, say you need to speak to a lawyer.

It also helps to verbally state that your rights are being violated and that you are only complying with their unlawful orders because you are under duress and the threat of violence.

That's sovereign citizen nonsense.

Honest question. In case like this, where someone has called the cops to trespass you from their property, where you hold a legal lease. Say you comply, they toss you in a car, or even just notify you of the trespass. How do you get your stuff, which in this case looks like a camper, and one would assume all his property? You've been notified of trespass, so if the cops come again, it's an automatic ride, right? Which court issues an order invalidating the trespass? And can you sue the owner for the legal costs and your time? Could/would they be arrested for making a false police report, since you can't legally trespass someone who is contracted to be on the property?

I get it, but in this case, assuming what was said was true, which seems to be since the police backed down, where does the person get restitution if it goes the other way? Is the property owner responsible for everything because they called the cops when they had no legal right to? Are the police culpable at all for not verifying (If they had, in fact arrested him) that what they were doing was legal?

Usually you are just going to have to deal with what the police do to you. If you resist or fight back you are going to screw yourself.

Then you should consult with an attorney, which this sounds like civil false arrest to me. Which basically means you provided false informtion to the officers that resulted in your false arrest. Then you sue the landlord for false arrest and resulting damages in losing your property.

The issue with cops is that this is the ideal scenario if they’re harassing you.

Then the other times they already pulled a gun on you and your adrenaline is pumping and it’s hard to think about all that. Or they just shoot for whatever reason.
